Yes, absolutely join one. But for your own sake, take my advice on this. Here's what you need to do:

Find out what the top 2 to 3 fraternities at your school are. You can find this out by asking girls who are in the hottest/sluttiest sororities, but you will likely not find out by asking anyone else.

Then, go to those 2 to 3 fraternities' parties during rush week. You should be able to get the locations after talking to some of the brothers at their rush events. Or even just hit up the Rush Chairs; you can get their cell #'s pretty easily. But make sure you get those invites (if not, just fucking show up), because I definitely wouldn't recommend joining any fraternity without having first seen how they party, as well as if those parties are drowning in quality pussy.

Also, don't base your decision on rumors (hazing, drugs, etc.). Fun-ness of parties and amount of quality pussy should be your only 2 decision-making factors here. If those 2 factors appeal to you, you can be damn well sure those brothers are cool dudes.

There was not a big greek scene at my undergrad college, although I did know a couple guys who were in a frat. I thought it was stupid at the time, and to be honest I kinda still do... HOWEVER going to grad school at a school that did have more of a greek presence and knowing what I know now, I would do it in a heartbeat for the pussy. These guys have it so easy

I think that after being in the Navy, personally, I am not willing to let some chumps try and humiliate me. That's just me, I've too much pride as a vet to join a "brotherhood" that is based on nothing of substance. My brothers are the men I served with, not the pimple faced keg drinkers who would cry in a fight.

When you go to a bar you know who the drunken idiot losers are.

Don't go to a fraternity with guys that just want "drunken escape".

But if you find one with a solid "Wolf Pack" mentality they could form alliances with you that can last a lifetime.

Judge them by the intensity they judge you. (more is better)

Hazing by excessive alcohol consumption tends to be the sign of the "idiot" crowd. Try to find the men who aspire to be great men. Check their extroversion... if everyone is introverted run like it's contaminated with Ebola.

Use your head. Pay heed to their actions, not their words. I wasn't in a fraternity in college, but I had friends who were. Some were just typical degenerates, others were true "fraternity men" and seemed to have gained a lot from being part of one. As /u/redpillsafe put it, find one that's got men who are actively improving themselves. A wolf pack, not a sheep herd.

In retrospect, I wish I had joined one. I loved the friends I had in college, but all we did was get drunk and high.
