On AskTRP a lot of people often ask how to make the people around them more RP. The general consensus is you can lead a horse to water but you can't get it to drink - something that I often say in response to such questions. But this particular post addresses one such instance where I may have actually been successful in giving someone the pill. In this case the person in question is my roommate (who for those that care I mentioned in my last post).

As the story goes, after swallowing the pill, I registered noticeable improvement in my life. But I wasn't the only one who made that observation. This one roommate has noticed it too, and rather than fall into the BP trap of throwing shade at me, he has been actively intrigued. Where I can, I give him some pointers and today I have to say, he made me proud.

There's a girl he's had an eye on for some time but has been too shy to make a move. I've told on him on numerous occasions that it really doesn't matter what you say or do, rather that you do something. Today he took that advice and made a move. The girl in question threw the old "Sorry but I have a boyfriend" at him - something I've since learned to maneuver around. However the fact remains that he tried.

Aside from just talking to him about gaming women, we often have discussions about society and the impact of feminism. On multiple occasions I get the impression that he's come to agree with my perspective. Him taking action today has more or less confirmed that he's coming over to our side as, by his own admission, he made the approach from an IDGAF position. We debriefed shortly after and analyzed the approach, but I'm confident that he's now seen the light.

TL:DR - Roommate has noticed the improvements that have come from swallowing the pill. Shown an interest in making improvements of his own. Made his first move today. Could now be on the path to swallowing the pill.
