From last few weeks of reading asktrp and TRP I have assimilated general advice that addresses some of the commonly asked questions. None of this should be new information if you’ve read the side bar, but since I know many haven’t I thought this might be helpful for some noobs, or even a nice refresher for others.

That said, the advice is general. If you want particulars, then your ass needs to learn how to research the sub for the required literature because if you expect people to spoon-feed you game at your whim, then you’re fucked.

Spinning a plate is also a screening process that determines a woman’s viability as a potential LTR. Following the canonical Bitch Management by HSP, an increase in commitment (ie, time, energy, money, emotion, etc.) corresponds with an increase in her viability. When a woman reaches the apex of this hierarchy, LTR, it is said that she is maximally viable.

Methods for screening viability are regrettably not obvious points of common knowledge. Even barring any rational “rules of thumb” that one might follow, it is evident that many neglect their most basic gut instincts with respect to avoiding women with “red flags”.

Thus, I encourage all users to familiarize themselves with literature on TRP pertaining to women with red flags, and do not ignore them. Yes, learning to avoid theses women can be done through experience, but sometimes such experiences come at too great of a cost. Therefore it is better to know beforehand when something about her just don’t seem right — even if it is a gut feeling, trust that shit.

If one should choose to commit to an LTR, even then, continue screening her for her integrity and viability. Every day should be treated as an opportunity for her to prove her worthiness of your commitment. She needn’t be your “slave” (unless that’s what you’re into) but she does need to clearly demonstrate the extent to which she values your commitment and attention.

Inevitably her demonstrations will wane as familiarity converts those admirable aspects of yours into contemptible ones, and as these demonstrations decrease, her other options in terms of men (your competition) will begin to appear more attractive. Even if she is fully committed, she can always find herself in a position where infidelity can “just happen”. As a general rule it is best to not allow her to enter circumstances where it can “just happen”, and you should not rely on her own ability to avoid those situations, despite her good intentions.

There is no point in belaboring how the female rationalization process works in these cases because nobody knows. But that is what they do, and knowing this is important. It is not an injustice or a blight on the fairer sex, but an amoral reality. If you let them do whatever they want, then they will, and your patience will be tested, and then you will likely find yourself in a regretful situation.

Since it is virtually impossible to prevent loss of attraction and infidelity from happening, the only tangible recourse is to be prepared. The best strategy I have found is to walk away the moment I see indications that an LTR with a particular woman is no longer viable.

Often these indications appear “before I am ready to break up”, but that is because of emotional dependency from the elevated intimacy. It is analogous to how a cigarette smoker “isn’t quite ready” to stop smoking. You should know what’s at stake in both cases.

After an LTR it is common for attraction, if it was lost at any point, to rebuild. This can occur for both parties. The remedy for falling back into an old relationship (which is inadvisable for a litany of good reasons) is to have other women that you are constantly screening and gaming, even during your LTR.

You needn’t cheat per se, but it is always wise to have your eggs placed in multiple baskets (or your seeds sowed in many fields). For in addition to giving you the abundance necessary to leave an LTR gracefully, many options give you the psychological advantage of pre-selection and social approval, which is very attractive.

Moreover, this advantage passively creates dread, which slows loss of attraction and prolongs the inevitability of a branch swing.

Another possibility after an LTR is to demote instead of hard next-ing her. Keeping her as a plate is possible, even if she finds a new boyfriend, but comes with risks of increased emotional drama. Hence plating an ex should only be done by those who are firm in their resolve to not re-commit, and are exceptionally skilled at deflecting drama and giving worthwhile dick.

In conclusion: screen potentials for undesirable traits, if you date one then keep screening during the relationship, don’t hesitate to exit the relationship at the first sign of doubt, and be prepared for your turn with her to end by having additional batters on deck.
