This episode was my first step into Game, back in 2001. I doted on this broad for my entire first semester and when she broke up with her boyfriend for me, I was elated. I went over-the-top with romantic gestures and immediately showed how much I worshiped her since her ex-boyfriend was such an ass. Unsurprisingly, she dumped me in short order -- and in the worst way possible: by sleeping with one of my best friends at a party while I sobbed like a little bitch in the bathroom.

Sitting in the airport to go home for Christmas break was a Scarlet O'Hara-I'll-Never-Go-Hungry-Again moment for me. I realized, as all natural betas do, that what women say they want is so very different from what their hypergamous hamster demands that they want. But, alas, answers alluded me. What resource did I have to cure this deficiency?

Enter "The Opposite." I started doing the opposite of every romantic instinct I had. I got laid for the first time within 30 days, ran my first harem, backtracked a little when I went home for summer break, then came back with full guns blazing in Total Asshole Mode. I got laid more in one semester than I ever have in my entire life. But it was not to last, since being 100% asshole all the time is a great way to chase off women and ruin you reputation in a small college community. Nevertheless, a star was born.

I have continued to quench my undying thirst at mastering TRP and bending the Matrix to my will, but I will always be grateful to Seinfeld & Co. for starting me off on this journey which has been rewarding, fulfilling, and fun.

There's another episode where Beta George was about to get dumped. Kramer tells him to break up with her first. George realizes that either they break up which was going to happen anyway but preserve some dignity or he flips the script and gets the upper hand

The great thing about Seinfeld in general was it just didn't really give a shit about the audience. It had its mundane story lines, but with great acting and very clever writing it was so funny.

This episode will always stand out to me. I was in the cinema last week and I "Constanza'd" it to some kids behind who were loud.

Seinfeld was always just way more Red Pill then most comedies at the time (Friends, urgh what a load of shit). Where even Jerry in one episode chooses Soup over his smoochy girl friend.

Fucking brilliant.

Wow, serious deja vu!! I was just reading No More Mr Nice Guy and the author mentions this precise episode and how doing what he normally didn't worked for George.
