The nature that I think you are referring to is embedded in the culture of masculinity. What they want is for you to have the correct feelings, not your natural feelings. As long as the feelings you show are of an Alpha everything will be good for you according to them, but you may not have a good mental health for your own. That's why men need a brotherhood. Where they can be open to other trustful men (just be sure that they don't stab you in the back with your confidences, pick them well, pick quality friends). But anyway, I don't think that they really want the true feelings but to see which men have a natural Alpha behaviour. Which the majority of us need to fake until its real.

I don't think anyone suggest to go against your emotions here. TRP only tells you to learn to know the difference between the emotions that stem from you and the emotions you've programmed yourself to feel because it's "socially expected to".

Actually, quite the contrary. RP preaches for you to find your own passion, work towards your own goals and create a better life for yourself . All these things require connecting with your inner self and doing what you feel is right, for you, not for anyone else.
