Someone might chime in with better advice, but here's my take:

No one is really "busy" once they are off work. Managing time is simply a matter of priorities. If some famous, rich actor wanted to take her out, she'd reschedule and go out with him instantly. I'd employ a "three strikes you're out" rule, or something to that effect. If she is busy, but suggests an alternative that works for her, obviously you're good to go. If she is busy on several occasions, and makes no attempt to remedy - I'd move on to the next girl. Your problem is most likely something else, not the specific way that you ask them to meet you.

I avoid the situation by creating interest on the first date, then establishing the time and place for the second date, once this is done I end the date. Always leave on a good note, don't wait for the conversation to go stale. Never play the texting game its just another way for her to get risk free validation.

Your first and only text should be "Let's hang out".

You'll see directly if the woman is interested or if you're just here to feed her with attention. Don't forget the true nature of women.

Theres your problem. Shoulda put that girl on ice after time number 2. Trust me man, if a girl is legitimately into you and wants to hang out generally they find time to. If they are legit busy, putting them on ice won't hurt at all.

There's your problem, you haven't met them yet. Online dating is a fool's errand for a variety of reasons I won't get into here. You need to be meeting women in person, building investment that way, and get a handle on things of this nature. Down the road then you can revisit online dating once you've fixed your game (and yourself).

In general, even if not online dating, you're going to have women flake. It happens, and when it does there has to be consequences. DO NOT FEED THEM ATTENTION, it just reinforces the bad behavior. As far as I'm concerned women get 2 chances. One flake is plausible as shit happens, but she has to reach out to me and offer an alternative makeup date. If she flakes a second time, NEXT!

Sounds like she's not interested. If she was, she would have said something along the lines of "Oh I'm busy, how about [insert time here]?".

edit This is the problem with meeting people through text, Facebook, etc. There's too much "in-between time" compared with meeting someone in person.

Q. How do you really know the person you are texting intends to ever meet you?

One time I tried to meet a girl from texting, and when i got there, i found out she never had any interest in meeting me. it felt like kind of a set up.

I then decided to just meet people in public places and social houses.

Solution: don't try to date girls you haven't met yet, or try to get a date ASAP with minimal investment. If she doesn't want to meet you after seeing your pictures and 3 minutes online chat, she probably doesn't want to meet you after 3 weeks.

If she says shes busy all the time. Stop talking to her. When she finds out you lost interest, she'll either A. try and get the attention back from you(because she was playing hard to get) or B. Never talk to you again in which case good for you because you don't want some fake coward like that anyways. If she doesn't have the respect for you to tell you no, then stop giving her the time of day.

Quick math for you. theres aprox. 1.1 males in the world for every female. Now think of all the men you know are single. Every guy you meet that is single is an extra girl that exist for you to potentially hook up with. Coincidentally there are more females then males in the U.S. Just put your self out there and be confident. Women thrive on confidence more then anything I know. Trust me, I bullshitted so hard on this one random girl and she's my girlfriend of 8 years. she was like my 3rd girlfriend. All in all though. Don't sacrifice yourself to be with someone who isn't worth your time.

If she declines or claims to be busy without suggesting a different time then it is code for "not interested".

Just move on. It will increase the chances of at least a few of them becoming interested and hitting you up later. You'll also be able to focus on other girls.

This is bad, is evidence of a beta infection in other areas of your game and will result in fewer/no girls who declined at first getting in touch later.

There was this one girl I went on a date with. I called her up a while later to go on a second date. She said she was at the library studying so I suggested we get together later that evening and she said she'd still be at the library.

That's 10+ hrs at the library studying with no room for a break? Fuck that, never made contact again and neither did she. Contacting her more would not only be a waste of time, it would reek of desperation.
