NOW (National Organization of Women) lists keeping affirmative action as a top priority. These laws create barriers for white men (not white women though, btw) concerning employment and admissions to universities based solely on gender and race. This is state sponsored discrimination against one particular group to make amends for past injustices. My question is how do you see affirmative action? Do you see it as a way to level the playing field, or just another solipsistic tactic by the matriarchy to ensure their economic security with people of color simply used to gain support for their discriminatory laws?

Edit: Not sure why this topic is being downvoted. Most of the comments seem to be positive. Make no mistake about my intentions. I am not a racist by any means. I am simply curious about your position on AA because of feminism's advocacy of the program. No offense was intended to any person of color, nor do I think they need it. They are adults with just as much power and control as everyone else. To say that they need the extra leg up is almost insulting to them. It's like saying in order for you to have a chance at winning this foot race we have to smack all of the white male runners in the knee with pipe (for fairness sake, of course.)
