For me Manson's Models has been detrimental to my game. I've also read Greene's Seduction and it's apparent how different each books advice is.

Just some words of caution from my experiences of trying all kinds of approaches and mindsets.

I think that a lot of Manson's approach is or is potentially boring to women. It's a bit redundant to tell a girl you came over to talk to her because you thought she was cute, and if you're an attractive guy with confidence they're likely not to give a damn you could be so refreshingly upfront. You have no reason to like her yet as a selective alpha, you should be searching not appearing to complete the mission. There is power in being the type of person who appears to have nothing to lose, but that's anti-seductive too, you have nothing to lose because you have nothing. Like a homeless man who dances weird and talks to everyone, it's not charming it's just off-putting. I don't think bold aggressiveness is something men lack so much today, it's not something women are shocked or surprised by. It's all about the delivery, context, and the reasons (whether fabricated or sincere).

My best luck approaching new women and women in general was at a time when I thought I was better than everyone else and people were all so disappointing. I had a magical band-aid. I considered my successes as being better and more important than anything most people were doing. This made me very attractive to practically everyone, best aligned with the Charismatic type from Greene's Seduction.

What I learned from this period was that I didn't expect much from people, I was 'searching' for someone to impress me. And often my cynical outlook would lighten up when I learned a beautiful girl had done something with her life and could hold a conversation. She could see that in my eye. I now had an interest in her beyond the initial physical attraction, I was interested in her and not a part of her. That is powerfully seductive because it's feels deeper. It brings them security, makes them feel wanted, and you don't come off as anything less than respectable selective alpha. You weren't looking for someone to date, but you happen to find them and were impressed. It distinguishes a high SMV for you and leads them to believe this is a unique genuine experience.

This is a Mindset. I realize these ideas are scattered in varying forms but having the mindset that you're searching for impressive, interesting people actually promotes you to talk to everyone. And when you talk to everyone in a group with this mindset it again reveals a high SMV. You appear like a pastor of inspiration, and when women know you can talk with everyone with ease it will make them feel secure with you. I have forgotten all this, I go out and only focus on the women and not EVERYONE. My mind has been on the objective.

I only write this to help serve as a reminder that it's mindsets that steer all the little things you can't make up. Don't go out and put forth ideas, get a frame of mind. Be a villian, a hero, a mysterious enigma, a rake. Just don't be a person with a bag of tricks.

I think this is easier and more effective than the long arduous process of implementing the small changes. But maybe it's not for everyone. It's similar to method acting and why method acting works. I firmly believe that if the whole isn't together people will see in very subtle ways the contradictions, the fraud. The dirty socks pushed under the couch.

Again not for everyone, but maybe those of you who are wired to be a little heavy handed and one track minded. "Don't go looking for girls, just do your thing" doesn't work or make sense to me. I need something to do, something to focus on.
