First off, I want to point out that hypergamy encapsulates many more aspects of a man's life than just "money". Women often desire men who are more popular than they are. They often desire men who are more outgoing and confident than they are. This is still known as hypergamy. Finance is just one small part of the whole.

In its rawness, this thread should allow the truth to sink in quite easily. It is almost unanimously agreed in there that a woman does not want a man who is bellow her, in whichever facet of hypergamy that it be (in this case, it's income). Think of the way most guys can be similarly disgusted by 300 lbs landwhales. We have our equivalents.

For me, it's just a reminder to avoid stagnation. Sometimes I feel comfortable with the mediocre job I'm holding right now. I sometimes lose a grip on my ambitions too. Thankfully though, I have womankind checking me, constantly reminding me not regress into being a beta bitch, every now and again. Some might call their utter repulsion to lesser traits tough love for some men.
