Women are what evolution has made them. In this sense, they are just like us. Every impulse and instinct that governs their lives is there for a reason, and has had millions of years to sharpen itself. Human beings are the most numerous intelligent species of animal so far known in a universe that has been expanding for 13 billion years: whatever the creators of babies are doing, they are doing right.

TRP does not hate women: everyone here is in various degrees of loving the idea of them. The rage you see here isn't because women are what they are, it's because just about everyone is lying to you about them. It's because no one ever told you what they are. There are men here who have been marching on farther and farther away from the simple happiness of an LTR for 30 or 40 years because no one taught them the first thing about sexual dynamics. There are men here who are 19 and just spent four years tripping all over themselves in high school when a weekend of reading here would've turned it around completely for them. But no one's telling them the truth. It's no surprise that this place can be an angry fucking subreddit to be in from time to time.

do you guys think that all women are inherently selfish?

Women are what they need to be to ensure the best chance for their children to thrive. No reasonable man can hate that. But he is right in his hatred of the fact that his old man didn't tell him this. That movies meant to shape his sense of morality and right and wrong when he's a kid reinforce the opposite. That women themselves never bothered to pull him aside and let him in on this secret. That he had to continue fucking up relationship after relationship with no clue why what he had been told a real man does wasn't working, until he had the good fortune to come across this subreddit and the theories held within.

You can't trust a dog, but you can trust a dog to be a dog.

Like are you mentioning all the faults because society never does, but do you guys think that women can be better or worse at things than you?

Only men in the very early stages of awakening believe that they are by default better at everything than women, and even then, only the dumber men think that. There are plenty of things women do better than men. That just isn't the point of this sub, and it would make for a boring read if we needed to throw a shoutout to the ladies every time we pointed out something we do better. This is not a place where you need to preface what you say with weak nonsense like hoping you aren't offending anyone. The truth is often very offensive. This is not a place where we need to sugarcoat anything.

I guess what im asking is are there good things in the backs of your heads for why you think women are good or awesome in some way... but its just not appropriate to post here because thats not what this discussion is supposed to be focused on?

There are over 36,000 people on this sub. There's going to be a few still stuck in Women-are-the-Enemy mode, but if they keep reading here, they won't be for long. They will smarten up and see it all for what it is, probably for the first time in their lives. I keep reading here because what I read in my first week on this sub made both every success and failure I'd had with women up to that point in my life make sense. It provided clarity where there had once been confusion, and allowed me to draw plans for my life where there had previously just been a blank piece of paper.

I think people understand TRP differently. For me, TRP and implementing it was all about learning to focus on building my own life the way I see fit and focusing on relationships other than romantic ones. TRP was a philosophy I used it to help build my career, develop myself as a musician, and accomplish my financial goals. The common wisdom is that you haven't really started your adult life until you're married, but forget that. At 25, I bought a new Lexus last year, I'm closing on a condo likely in late Feb/early March, and I'm putting all of MY ducks in a row so that no matter if and when women come and go, it's no skin off my ass, I'll be just fine.

Yeah...I really do like the premise behind this whole subreddit... and the answers to my questions have totally been so helpful. I think this is a great place.

Dont use your posessions in your early 20s to judge your success. At 24, I bought a townhouse and a new car. Then I realized I was trapped in debt up to my asshole. The only reason I bought that shit was because thats what I thought I was supposed to do. That townhouse was one of the worst mistakes of my life. 2 years later I was getting job offers from all over the world and I was stuck. I was in far more debt with my nice job than I had ever been in my entire life.

Now Im in my early 30s. If you were to judge by immediate perception... I drive a 17 year old pick and rent with friends. What makes me personally feel succesful is knowing I have zero debt and around 150k in various accpunts that Ive earned and saved on my own. I may not have a nice condo and a mortgage.. but I could almost buy one wih cash.. and I could most certainly pay for a bmw outright no problem.. but those arent things I want. A woman who judges me for not having those is not a woman I want to be around. What I do have is the freedom to pack up my shit and do whatever I want. In fact, I handed in my resignation letter at work last week. Im quitting a nice office job with a fat paycheck, so I can go hike for the entire summer.

At 25, you should be hoarding money or out living. A house is for settling down. A mortgage was a jail sentence for me. Upkeep, insurance.. my life revolved around an office job and a mortgage.. not any more.

[–]PegDenver 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

All valid points. I wasn't trying to be Mr. Big Dick because I'm buying a condo. I'd rather pay a mortgage than pay rent because of the equity you build in the asset, but it's not the only path to take. My point was mostly that regardless of the women in/out of my life, my choices are my own and I'm not relying on finding the perfect woman to make my life work the way I'd like.

http://therawness.com/the-myth-of-female-maturity-part-2/

The average man puts the average women on a pedestal far more often than vice versa, and men are trained and socialized by both parents to do this from young. Women on the other hand get an education from both parents on how to protect themselves from the dark side of most men from a very young age. “All men want is just one thing.” “Give it up too fast and he won’t stick around.” “He’s just not that into you.” “He won’t buy the cow if he can get the milk for free.” “Don’t let yourself be alone with a guy you barely know.” “All men will cheat given the opportunity.”

Meanwhile, I don’t think men are capable of even believing the average woman has a dark side. They think only the outliers do. (I believe this is why the Madonna/Whore problem is still prevalent today.) Women are totally fine accepting that the average guy has a dark or unsavory side and that they need to be informed about that, without believing that doing so makes them man-haters. Yet men feel like the mere entertaining of the idea that the average woman (not just the mythical “bad girl”) can have an unsavory side will transform them into instant misogynists.

... As I said yesterday, I think these Pollyannaish beliefs men grow up with about women give men a lot of faulty, idealized expectations about women, and when they get blindsided and hurt enough times by women not living up to these ideals their parents and society put in their heads, they overcompensate in the opposite direction with extreme misogyny and a feeling that they’ve been lied to their whole lives. I think a lot of the new misogyny we’re seeing wouldn’t happen if society and parents were as comfortable educating boys about the dark side of women as they are educating women about the dark side of men.

The red pill has no consensus on women although there are a few things agreed on by the majority, we don't think women are inferior or stupid but we do believe that the modern woman is somewhat 'ruined'.

The problem is with pc and feminism there is no longer any criticism or shaming of women they become child-like due to a lack of boundaries or punishment, women now are generally spoilt, have-it-all princesses who feel the world owes them the whole shebang.

This is the case due to feminists and white knight enablers, as discussed elsewhere rather than up their game most women would rather change the win conditions, combine this with white knight enablers that are either raised by feminists or so desperate for pussy they'll do anything but call the girl out for fear of upsetting his ''chances'' and you get a situation where women can't be criticized, look at Miley Cyrus (or Justin Beiber for the male equivalent) for a similar phenomenon, both a famous(and thus mostly immune to any real criticism) they are surrounded by people and a society that says they can do no wrong and thus they do what they please to the great embarrassment of everyone.

This is now the case with women, society treats them (like celebrities) as a protected class, and like celebrities anyone in close proximity will only tell them what they want to here to gain favor/avoid group condemnation.

[–]MagicGainbow 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

As for women who aren't like that, they do exist...in numbers small enough in America/the U.K. that they may as well not exist or in non-western countries, if trp has taught me anything it's that you can be the model bf/husband do everything right....and she'll still cheat, so All Women Are Like That.

Aw.... man.... =/

[–]causack[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I totally agree. I think women should have more accountability. Thank you so much for your response, could I ask you though... what does "ruined" entail? Does that mean there is no going back? Can they change? Is that why the red pill for women subreddit it there? Can they become un-ruined?

[–]MagicGainbow 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I think up to a point women can turn back but....these days they generally reach that point in their early to mid twenties, I say this not because of age but because by that point the amount of dicks taken is too damn high.

[–]MagicGainbow 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If reddit (especially the 'ask' subreddits ironically) has taught me anything it's that slut's don't 'reform' or 'get better', in every thread i've read marrying a slutty girl leads to unhappiness as she has basically jaded herself to sex which for men is part and parcel of intimacy/love/whatever.

[–]causack[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

What if the girl isnt a slut? And what would qualify for a slut? Like how many guys does a girl have to sleep with to be considered a slut? Or is being a slut an attitude... not necessarily a number? And Im sorry if im asking too many questions...

[–]MagicGainbow 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's in my own opinion mostly attitude but over a certain number attitude or no, she's not worth a relationship.

[–]MagicGainbow 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Time span plays a part a 26 yr old with say 8 guys under her belt isn't bad but a twenty yr old with the same number is a definite slut.

It's about context really. Take a girl I know 23, only slept with 3 guys but has announced to our group that she's gone off dating and is just going to sleep around for a bit, I could tell she was saying that to impress me(she was glancing for my reaction and I have somewhat of a rep) but all it's done is cause me and every guy in the room to cross her off the ltr prospects list as a slut.

The real problem with sluttiness is that girls think guys find it desirable, attractive for a ONS yes but not someone you'd date or bring home to mother. It's the whole slut/stud debate, feminists can complain and argue all they want but you can't force attraction and a girl that has taken alot of cocks is not attractive, the exact amount differs from man to man but once you reach a mans 'personal number' your attractiveness plummets.

[–]christiefrontdrive 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There is a subreddit specifically for asking questions. You might want to take a day and compile a few of the more important ones you have and then start a thread there. Think of what are the 2 or 3 most important things you want to know and ask them there, but you should know that the sidebar is here for a reason. Most questions you have will be answered if you do a bit of reading there.

If there were no good points about women then why is there so much effort here on actually understanding them? (This was rhetorical).

Don't be fooled into thinking that this is a woman-hating, misogynistic sub of bitter men. It's a sub meant to study the species that is woman. It is anthropological. It analyses a woman's actions and tries to draw commonalities from actions that manifest repeatedly in all manner of women. Some people hate women, some love them. There is no common ground. But the basis for all of this is reality, and it draws upon real events to present conclusions that society generally hides from, because of the inherent power of the vagina.

Thanks for your reply

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Red Pill is not a single cohesive unit. It is a community of different people with evolving beliefs about common topics. Therefore, I can only present the following, which are my answers.

do you guys think that all women are inherently selfish?

All humans are inherently selfish, some to varying degrees. At the end of the day we make decisions based on trying to extract some profit or benefit from the world around us. Even if that benefit is a feeling of benevolence or honor, which is why most people do selfless acts.

At TRP we believe that individuals (beta males, white knights) and society at large improperly asserts and disguises the above truth as it applies to sexuality, particularly female sexuality. This is the "pedastalization" that we fight against. Specifically, we admit that men behave as selfishly as women when it comes to getting what they want (and even encourage them to behave more selfishly if they aren't getting what they want), but we want society to stop pretending that obviously selfish behavior on women's part is innocent or benevolent when it is not, and we believe that it should be recognized for what it is.

Or are you just pointing out the faults with women, and not really mentioning the "good parts" about women because thats for another subreddit?

I do not at all believe the purpose of TRP is to point out that women are faulty or evil or inferior or subhuman. Quite the opposite, actually, I think the purpose of TRP is to remind everyone that women are just as self-motiviated and manipulative and weak-willed as the rest of us: merely that what drives them sexually is subtle and poorly understood by society (or lied about), so it simply appears that they are not.

It would not shock most people to say "If a man met an incredibly beautiful and physically attractive young woman with charisma and child-bearing hips who respected him and tempted him with exclusive access to her valuable (scarce) sex, he would be tempted to cheat on or leave his current relationship unless his current partner could compete with those attributes". This statement shocks no-one, not red-pillers, not feminists, not church-going christians, not white knights...whatever. It's so obviously a true statement that people don't even acknowledge it. It's truth is a part of our culture. It doesn't imply to most that men are evil or terrible or selfish, it's just their nature.

But when Red-Pillers say "If a woman met an incredibly handsome and muscular man with confidence and high-status who protected her and tempted her with exclusive access to his valuable (scarce) emotional validation, she would be tempted to cheat on or leave her current relationship unless her current partner could compete", everybody loses their minds and calls the red-pillers misogynists or bitter or evil.

Why shoot the messenger? We aren't implying that women are evil, just that they follow their nature just as much as we do in sex/relationships, and that as men we should be aware of that and act accordingly.

We also have a strong message of acknowledging that social and legal structures (marriage and divorce rape, moral codes of chivalry, shaming male sexuality as 'creepy' or 'dangerous', religion, child-support) ALREADY exist to disincentivize men from acting on those temptations. However, no or few disincentives exist for women who act on those instincts (regardless of who they hurt in the process), and in fact there are some who believe that society should remove all of those disincentives altogether.

At TRP, we believe that these incentives to behave structurally and the expectations to deny our sexual nature are ALREADY unfairly leveraged against men, and advocate that either 1) men shrug them away and embrace our new incentive-free society AND/OR 2) add more social incentives for women to reject their temptations.

Despite the bitterness and rejection of political correctness, , I strongly believe that the primary purpose of TRP is to help men and women to understand each-other better and enter into more mutually-beneficial and stable relationship on equitable terms. Do you really think all the men who come in here and rave about how TRP saved their marriage HATE their wife? Why bother saving it if they did?

Like are you mentioning all the faults because society never does, but do you guys think that women can be better or worse at things than you? Do you think a woman could ever be more intelligent than you?

Of course I do. How could I NOT? I would be a fool to assert that all women are less intelligent than all men, or even to assert that all women are less intelligent than ME. Even if I had a 120 IQ, 1 out of 10 of women are GOING to be smarter than me. Thats simple math from the known data.

It's objective mathematics and science that some women are smarter than me, and we try not to deny reality here with insupportable sexist absolutist claims. Thats what many "feminists" do.

I guess what im asking is are there good things in the backs of your heads...

Something like that.

I've never met a woman I genuinely thought was more intelligent than me. Unless you count maybe a female nurse or doctor but even then outside of her field of specialization I doubt she'd be as well rounded. I'm sure it's possible though just exceedingly rare.
