Just seems like a blue pill vs blue pill but the girl blue pill wins because societal influence of girls being more important and whatnot.

The girl is out of shape and so is the dude, the girl is literally crying out for him to take control but he wont do it. The repetitive "what is wrong with you" is her way of saying, "please be a man."
