In cases like this, it is not necessarily being "more beta" that is needed, but just more social vibing. The vibe - ie does shit feel awkward or fun - is essential. WIth 3 girls, if one girl knows another girl is feeling weird, they all just transfer that state and nope the fuck out randomly, even when you think the set into you. If you are holding frame to cause tension, that's fine and all, you create this nice sexual tension and ride it for a while. Then you let it go eventually UNLESS there is a chance to just use it to extract her, essentially riding the wave home. It's like when you're doing push / pull or that shit, you can't just keep pushing, eventually you must communicate interest. But this is not beta, you will not want to communicate interest in a beta way.

Likewise if I am overwhelming a girl and in my head I think I'm being alpha, in reality whats happening is probably just my directness and getting sexual too quick, not building comfort, or just running "plow through" style game. These are often necessary on the hottest of girls because you get 1 shot to make a standout impression, crack the resting bitch face, and get her aroused and engaged with the convo. With uglier girls, they are already engaged when you say hi; they do not think they are better than you, so you do not need to put them down.

It's the putting down, the unnecessary DHV or push-heavy pushpull that will unsettle these girls, and a failure to build comfort that leads to them disappearing. It's not a question of too alpha or too beta, it's a question of techniques - be alpha still, just with better vibing sense and intuition about how different girls' are operate in completely different realities.

It's just calibrating your approach to whether she is higher SMV or lower SMV than you. You don't need to dull your SMV or your alphaness, just build her up or chop her down right to the point where her relative SMV feels to her maybe 5% lower than yours. That is the sweet spot - she feels like you two are on the same level, but you are still a catch, she should still feel like she's the one getting lucky.

This seems completely wrong to me.

In my experience, it is very important to maintain frame every moment. It doesn't turn them off, it turns them on. It turns then on even more when you are high SMV.

It really just sounds like you can't find a proper way to present yourself and present your frame. You can do whatever the hell you want and you decide to not hold frame isn't the mindset that TRP requires. I'd rather look at your game and tighten it up. Frame always works and never is a turn off.

The thing is, if you are really high SMV, women get intimidated by you and won't do big moves on you, because they fear rejection. Instead they expect you to do moves on them. And when you let those girls bullshit their way out of a foursome, you didn't hold frame enough.

I've been waiting for someone to post something like this, because it has been my experience as well.

I've found that if women treat you like a beta, you need to alpha up a bit to show them who's boss, but that a lot of the time, being excessively alpha will turn them off, so you need to do things to take the edge off, especially if you aren' interested in them sexually.

Holding frame has nothing to do with alpha or beta , and specifically alpha has NOTHING to do with being an asshole or treating anyone poorly.

In my experience, you have to be keen at picking up on social cues to understand when to cut back a little bit. Some women (especially those who are already completely insecure) will not react as well to the "asshole" quips. Other women will be eating out of your hands if you act that way. You can maintain frame while taking you foot off the gas a little. As long as you're still in control.

I have taken home girls who I called "sweetheart" all night while gaming, and I've taken home girls after calling them a whore and a dumbass for an hour straight. You dont hunt rabbits with massive rifles and you don't hunt elephants with pellet guns.

Perhaps rather than saying you shouldn't "hold frame" in that situation, you should say one needs to validate them or make them feel comfortable that you are attainable. Or raise their value without lowering your own.

I disagree.

There is rarely a point where you want to exhibit beta qualities. I'm the same age as you and have slept with roughly the same number of women. Being beta never helped.

I believe the discrepancy here is the definition of alpha and beta.

Alpha being confident, dominant, and aggressive Beta being insecure, submissive, and passive

The problem stems from confusing Alpha with asshole. Yea sure being dominant sometimes means you need to act in a way that people would label as asshole or aggressive. The key is not to be an aggressive asshole all the time.

You have to be nice (not a fucking classic "nice guy" but a standard genuinely good human being) at times. In no way does this mean you need to act beta.

I think a better way to phrase it would be that you don't need to always act Alpha.

Acting Beta is rarely a solution regardless of your SMV. I knew a kid who was going to inherit tens of millions of dollars. Females could tell he was rich due to the way he spent money frivolously. He was a nice guy but his game wasn't strong and he exhibited a lot of "desperate" and Beta qualities. His SMV is higher than any of ours probably ever will be but that didn't matter much...
