To go on with the rest of the comments, its all about being the rock. You have to be the rock in the relationship, the one that she can rely on when shit gets rough sometimes. You won't change her mind for sure, but, just hear her out, and maintain your leadership state of mind.

It's usually as simple as just listening. Let her know you understand and have her back. Be the calm in the storm, the shoulder to cry on, the strong arm to steady herself by. Being strong for her has always worked better for me than being emotional with her.

Being a caring man in a LTR is not pussy behavior, as the relationship is a two way street if you have done right by yourself. The same behaviors toward a female friend who just calls you whenever she has a problem is not appropriate, since you are just being used.

Remember, beta-efied alpha is the holy grail for women. Therefore, I console her like a ~~pussy~~ caring man. Remember, girls want alphas for the fucks, and betas for longterm care. You have to juggle the two types of behavior if you want a stable, functional LTR. Err on the side of alpha.

Her feels are situation sensitive. You can change her frame by taking her somewhere else and doing something fun with her. I like tandem bicycles because its fun to weave through crowded beaches as a team, with you as the leader.

The first wife was so irrational I didn't bother. The second one just needed me to hold her so she could feel safe in my arms. She responded to my strength and I would console her like one of my kids. However, when my daughters would whack their heads on the table, I would check them for blood, and tell them "you're OK, you are tougher than that table" and they would stop crying.
