So I got lucky and have a money hungry bitch of an ex. Therefore I offered her more money, I call it ransom money, to get her to agree to a 50/50 schedule. We have been on this schedule since my daughter was about 2.5 years old she is now 4 years old. As my daughter has gotten older she says she misses her mom a lot and wants to call her. When she is at her mom's she never calls me, maybe her mom tells her no, I don't know. But tonight she has been running a fever and not feeling good and asked to call her mom. She told her mom she wanted her, and it ended with her mom just now picking her up. I don't work tomorrow so her staying with me when she is sick and can't go to daycare works out. But now she is with her mom and has to get up at 6:00 to bring her right back to me (she just got her at 22:00). It breaks my heart and makes me feel inadequate as a parent, like I am not taking good enough care of her or her mom does it better. Does this happen to you and how do you deal with it?
TL:DR How do you deal with your child wanting mom when he/she is with you?
