Value yourself above everyone else

The hardest thing for me to do was deny instant gratification in relationships.
It's funny, because I can easily do this in every other aspect of life - finances, career, etc...
When it came to relationships, it was harder. I was afraid to cut people loose and suffer the immediate emotional pain as a result in return for better relationships in the future. When I learned to do this, life became better.

tl;dr increase your testosterone level. Increasing the test level affect your behaviour subconsciously, so you'll be more aggressive, determined, fearless etc, in one word an alpha. For your surroundings this transition will look like you 1) finally grew a pair 2) changed into a douche. Whatever, you are now an alpha, so you don't give a shit on others opinions. Being manly man brings credibility, so you will get various offer along the way. Better job, better companion, more attractive women. However, don't expect this happen overnight, it is a long(ish) way to the top. Be persistent.

If you have ever used steroids you will know what an off the charts test level does to your behaviour.
I literally feel like a god while on 700mg a week. Aggressive, confident and so sexually direct I surprise myself sometimes. Alpha is the only way to describe it. When you are big AND shredded almost any woman wants to fuck you, and most guys are either intimidated by you or want to be your friend.

Although your experience confirms my claim, i'd recommend more natural way of increasing the test level, i.e. working out. Not because it is healthier and blah blah other shit, but because for most guys it simply is just enough. Taking roids is a shortcut, cheat code for god mode, with consequences. But don't take me wrong, i'm not judging you. Whatever floats your boat man, it's your life.

I agree with you that it is not for most guys. Hell I am only 27 and I could have waited a lot longer but once you get older it becomes a quality of life issue. Once I get into my late 30's and 40's and there is a choice between 1) a dwindling sex drive, increased fat deposits, loss of Type II muscle fibres etc and 2) the sex drive of a 22 year old, continuing to build muscle and just generally kicking ass, I know which option I'll be choosing.

You have the exact same game plan as me. Once I'm in my 40s or so, I'll be going with option #2. Whats life if you can't enjoy it?

First and foremost he needs to start valuing his own needs over the needs of others. Then he has to understand that the world is a sexual place and it's natural to to be openly sexual and not hide his intentions through whatever masks he was using before.
The rest will follow suite once he starts seeing the world for what it really is, either slowly on his own or by taking a large dose of pill from here or the few forums out there.

Have a higher social status than everyone else in your social circle.
A big part about this is physical prowess, not necessarily being the strongest, but appearing to be the strongest. 1) Start lifting, go for hypertrophy. Big muscles are a very natural way to give power / social status to yourself. 2) Learn to communicate through body language and posture physical prowess.
Grow your social circle. Start networking.
Accumulate wealth, further your career.
Join MMA or Muay Thai or Boxing or other fighting style sport. The more aggressive, the better. Try to find an all-male or mostly-male gym. The dynamics here will be entirely different than co-ed. In an all-male environment (doesn't have to be fighting sport), you will learn camaraderie that you can't learn elsewhere.
Consider the freemasons.
Learn an important lesson from fight club: aggression is an important facet of masculinity. To shun aggression is to emasculate yourself. Simply being honest with your own masculinity will put you in Alpha status over 80% of men out there.
Stop yielding to others. Yielding is definitive beta behavior. Either others cooperate and negotiate with you (and make sure you git the bigger stick), or they yield to you entirely. This is where I disagree with others: you don't always have to put your needs first, but you will execute how the needs of others is responded to.
Be confident in all that you do. This doesn't mean that you'll know how to do everything already, but that you will be confident in your capability to achieve your goals, and proudly execute every step towards that goal.
Understand what alpha is: it's a responsibility, and you're granted it by showing a demeanor that says you're best suited for taking this responsibility.
Watch house of cards: Underwood exemplifies all of this.
Edit: added 2)

You must take command of your existence. Find a way to make a living and own it. This may not be something you enjoy but often that is not for you to decide. If you work hard enough you can change your fate.
To do this you must be secure in your thoughts and actions, take care of your body via exercise and nutrition and expand your mental capacity.
Everything else will fall into place once you sort out yourself. I have found that through focusing on my mission and pouring my energy into a career which I believe will further humanity I have little time or interest left for women.
Stop being a sucker, chump, scrub, and/or bitch.
Learn to accept reality, stop making excuses, and stop settling for bullshit.
