How does one effectively spin plates?

Is there a way to spin multiple plates that are close to each other, without them smashing into each other?

Ah, the classic dilemma! The answer requires two things that you must, at all times, understand.

They will meet eventually. Most women you meet will come from the same circles and extended circles.
You must act as if you don't care about them both falling and shattering (because, as a man with abundance mentality, you don't care.)

So the answer is simple - don't lie about having plates. If you lie, you have to maintain the lie indefinitely and you move from not giving a shit to investing yourself into maintaining a plate.

Edit: a story of my friend is a key example.

My dude Fish^* has two really solid plates Laura^* (who is married) and Sue^* . One evening, he's laying the dick to Laura at his place and Sue shows up uninvited and unannounced. Fish, because of abundance mentality and the willingness to lose a plate (and a bit of anger at the rudeness), openly tells Sue that he is busy with a female guest and that she can either leave or come in.

If he had tried to lie or keep them secret, he would not have had a threesome that night.

Responded to a question that got deleted before I got to replying. It seemed to be about "telling her in advance before hooking up". At least that's how I percieved it. Maybe the poster changed his mind about what he said. This is what I replied anyway:

You are not obligated to tell someone in advance on all the details of how you view relationships. You might not even know all the details of what you want early on. And why should you? You barely gotten to know the girl.

We have been taught all life that "this is how relationships should work - this is the default (a,b,c) and correct way". That´s why we might think we are obligated to state "oh btw I am not like others when it comes to relationships because I blieve x,y,z instead of a,b,c". But in reality you are just following what you believe is right, period.

She can't expect of you to follow the a,b,c model and be appaled when she finds out that you are dating/having sex with someone she knows. You never promised that you would be monogamous (among other things). She can't have society preselect that option for you to (if you dont follow the a,b,c model you must immediately reveal that information).

Of course I am not saying you should lie. Just that individuals should be free of making their own choices in how relationships should work. Early on, you need only show your current intentions (I want to hook up / date). That doesn't mean "I want to hook up / date (and I am planning on being monogamous and see if this develops into a traditional bf/gf relationship)". It just means "I want to hook up" (that's all you want for now) and you shouldn't feel the need to explain more if she is up for it and haven't asked any other questions.

Of course, the plates might crash into eachother and if you have actively tried to hide them from eachother it will be obvious that you feel that you are doing something wrong. And then it will go to apeshit. But if you truly believe you are doing nothing wrong (you aren't) and you hold frame, you can expect more tolerance towards the idea. You might lose one or both plates (or none :P), but do so with less drama.

The only real key is to make sure you don't lie about it. Do not give them the impression that they are the only one because if you do when they find out everything will come crashing down. If they know from the get go then they will self select themselves out of your life if they can't handle it and they won't even think to try any of that carrie underwood "before he cheats" nonsense.

Since you obviously haven't done it yet you'll be surprised how cool most girls with it. Its basically just ongoing preselection.

Here is the process for spinning plates in general

I am certainly still a beginner, I've only spun 8 plates so far. Nonetheless here is the sequence. Look up rational male's plate theory.

1) Meet girl 2) Spend one-on-one time with girl 3) If she asks about other girls on date 1/date 2 you respond with agree and amplify/cocky funny game. "Dozens of other girls get this treatment from me every week." You don't back away from your sexual frame. Implicit communication at this point. Sometimes I'll be explicit at this point - but they need an insane amount of attraction to you to get past this. It's a sticking point because if you answer in a straightforward way you'll fail their shit test. They have to earn that level of trust and openness and 2 dates in is not enough. If you just blurt it out you make yourself cheap. 4) Start sleeping with girl/next if either party's not into it. 5) When girl asks you about exclusivity etc explicitly, genuinely answer. If she is asking indirectly, answer indirectly, and if she gets frustrated tell her to be clear about what she's asking. My go-to is "Yeah I'm seeing other people, aren't you?" And if a discussion ensues be really true to yourself in how you respond. Spinning plates is rational, it's okay, and for many it's the healthy choice. My personal reason for spinning is that commitment is a huge deal, and I have to really trust someone. They really have to earn it.

Now your question is about plates that are close to each other. You have to build strong attraction. Invest in yourself, and follow the 16 commandments of poon. Be their best option. If the plates are really close, they'll likely follow girl code and one will bow out. Not all girls want to be spun.

If you are spinning plates correctly, there should be no need to worry if they bump into each other because you are not exclusive to any of them. The incorrect way to spin plates is why you're worried, which is them thinking they are in something more than just a spinning plate. Hence, you should better set boundaries as to what they are to you, if they can't accept it then next them.
