As always, the redditors there have never understood it's never about common sense and society, but doing whatever the fuck you want and owning the shit out of it.

Male movie stars wear makeup, they dress stylishly, they go to spas, basically every single thing in that post they can do and not only they will not get called out for it, it'll become a fashion statement. It's always have been about frame and SMW. There was a video around the frontpage not too long ago showing a guy fully undressing in front of women on the street and asking for their number, and getting it too. And that's about as far away from social norms you are gonna get.

That being said, I draw the line at Sean Connery wearing yoga pants in public.
