It has relative divorce risk on the y-axis. The general trend shows that divorce rates increase as a wife's relative income increases(the independence effect). In other words, female breadwinners are general unstable marriages.

There is also an interesting peculiarity in that if you look at the right side of the graph, you'll notice that increased family income decreases likelihood of divorce, except at the highest quartile of income. In other words, if you want to be a stay-at-home dad, marry a teacher not a doctor.
