Shame is a good thing. It's social policing and it helps keep our negative tendencies at bay.

But being ashamed about having sex is the worst thing that a family can do to a kid. Be proud of your sex drive, it's what built the world as we know it.

It's about you taking what you read here and using it to help better yourself, in the end it's always you. This can be a supportive, helpful community, but you have to be the one to make the decision to implement it in your life.

There are different kinds of conservative households. Many conservative households try to teach boys to be alpha. And many liberal households teach boys to be delicate emotional betas. You can be conservative but without all the shaming and beta-ness.
