ask people questions about themselves and get them chatting. most people like to talk about themselves, so get them to do the hard work.

im guessing you are young-ish ...? a lot of shyness and lack of conversation worries will go away with age and practise, but i guess that doesnt help you immediately.

some guys remain beta forever and remain shy, but at least you are reading redpill stuff, so you are on the right track.

On youtube, put in a search for "How to Hold Conversation Like a Man", 21 Convention material. It's about an hour of your time but everything you need to know.

Something I got to say from my own perspective is that you're not there to impress the woman with amazing blabbery, doing magic tricks to entertain everyone, and being the smartest funniest motherfucker she ever met (all of which I used to waste my time and effort doing. Nevermore.). Not even close, the key points are (if you ask me)

Not giving a shit
Being verbally and nonverbally demanding, impossible to comfortably ignore
Doing and saying absolutely nothing, unless it's purely to amuse yourself and see how you can mess with this particular woman's mind and ridiculous expectations tonight, or evoke subtle erotic emotion in her with innuendo and vivid descriptions of pleasurable experiences that are not sex but might as well be, the way you're describing it to her...

Here's the secret to a great conversation: make them talk about themselves! The easiest way to do that is to ask open ended questions.

When you hear someone say I had a great conversation with Hyde992 it means that she talked a lot.

Then go out there and practice, practice, practice; practice talking with anyone and everyone, not just women that you are interested in.
