And here I thought it was the Illuminati bankers who wanted to double the labor pool to drive down wages while simultaneously doubling the number of incomes that can be taxed while at the same increasing the number jobs involving money transactions as stay-at-home wives outsource their old domestic jobs to other people and machines, who are also taxed.

This explanation, Illuminati aside, actually as plausible motives and evidence to support it. But, since I never received an actual invitation, I don't know if there was an actual "conspiracy."

It's posts like this that will be the death of this sub.

Infowars are two articles away from claiming Feminists planned 9/11 and Alex Jones is a fucking loon.

Infowars has never citied that conspiracy theory.

In fact, Joe Rogan (a guy who most redpillers have a hard on for) was a big supporter of the faked moon landing theory up until recently - he had to have Neil deGrasse Tyson on his podcast to explain it to him beyond a doubt that they did land.

You're just here to troll and derail, right?

[–]monsieurhire2 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I don't have a dog in the moon landing thing one way or another, but it's hilarious that Rogan will change his mind based on someone calling in and telling him that it happened. Was Tyson there? Is he God? Sure, he's a genius, but that doesn't automatically prove it wasn't a hoax. The only people who know anything with 100% certainty are the people that carry out the actual operations. Everyone else just takes their word for it.

Now, I know this sounds paranoid, but when you start reading declassified history and look at all the shit the intelligence agencies pulled, you can't blame people for questioning stuff like this.

Google "The War Magician" for more examples.

Also, lots of people accused the Chinese of faking a moon landing.

Also, some Science Fiction author, maybe Nancy Kress or Margaret Atwood was suspicious of it too.

BTW, do you have a link, I'd like to actually hear how Tyson persuades Rogan.

Sure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0zFOHqCdP8

I don't have a time on the video for you to skip to sorry.

You know what isn't a bullshit conspiracy? When you call out trolls on TRP and immediately they delete their comments and you get flooded with throwaway accounts backing them up and PM'ing you and shit.

Trying to build traffic for Infowars? Those sites haven't been any good for years. As soon as websites start upping their video and image content and lowering the information in their print, you know they're going to shit, and they went to shit a long time ago. Still, it's better that people don't accept everything the government tells them uncritically. I love how emotional people get about the moon landing, like, if it turns out that it WAS a hoax, they'll die of spontaneous combustion. I remember having that conversation with my dad and him shouting at me, and me enjoying the schadenfreude, and saying "Now, if you raise your voice, you've already lost the argument, therefore moon landing = fake, you lose, lol."

Edit: but then today, he started in on me for eating organic food, and how it doesn't matter what we eat, blah blah blah. I lost my temper and hung up the phone. I once countered with, "Great, go eat some cyanide! Don't worry, the hydrochloric acid in your stomach with completely digest it," but another thing he does is forget when I win, and then he starts in again on the same stuff I already won.

Trying to build traffic for Infowars?

No I'm not really big on conspiracies. And my ego isn't big enough that I get offended when a fat texan gets on the radio and rants about the ills of the world.

The video in the OP is good information, delivered professionally and is relevant to this subreddit - that's all.

[–]monsieurhire2 -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, I've had some real world experience with them, and basically, IMO, the whole world runs on conspiracies. The mafia: conspiracy. Government: legal conspiracy. Intelligence agencies: constantly conspiring. The militaries: conspiracies to make war. The corporations: conspiring for money. You can substitute plan for conspiracy.

Otherwise, everything is just a coincidence!

One conspiracy theorist has an expression for those people: coincidence theorists.

Alex Jones gets most of his exercise by getting all Red, Screemy and agitated. TRP is realy controversial lets not mix more controversy in here.

I made an observation of his content. His content consists of angry paranoid screaming. I kind think Jones is cool for sneaking into bohemian grove though.

[–]positivetiming2 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

There is no angry, paranoid screaming in the content of the video linked. There's not even Alex Jones. What are you talking about?

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Iv watched many of his videos and often times there is angry paranoid screaming.

Infowars is garbage

[–]positivetiming0 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (7 children) | Copy Link

Bullshit mate.

Posts from amazingly reputable sources like the DailyMail make it to the front page of TRP regularly. And if it's not Murdoch tabloid papers, it's someones blog site.

Here's a news organisation that gets millions of hits a week telling the world feminism was infiltrated by the CIA and setting the record straight - it's a tool of the elite.

Also it only seems that Americans have an issue with AlexJones/Infowars. Everyone I know outside of your country see's him as pure Americana and least he's telling the truth not like the rest of your corrupt corporate media!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Daily mail should be banned as well. Take that weak ass 'journalistic' sources to appropriate subs. There is a higher standard here

Did you even watch the video?

It doesn't include Alex Jones, but it does include verifiable historical facts to back up what the narrator is saying.

How can you discount information and yell 'YOU'RE DISCREDITED' without even looking at the actual content?

You don't need a subreddit to make your mind up for you; grow up, get some balls and make some decisions on your own.

[–]ss4james_ 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I actually check out infowars sometimes and I will say that they're right more than they're wrong...

That said, by bringing it up here you're opening a can of worms with all the controversy Alex's network Brings to the table... Yes, the elite keeps the proletariat weak with division, and feminism is a divider which tends to have weakening effects on family bonds. Yes it's another thing that can help keep people reliant on the system so they don't have the resources to revolt when the time comes.

I personally like Alex Jones, but I totally see why people would say he's a fear monger and not be very incredulous towards him (even though he predicted A LOT).
