Summary: Intangibles and man skills are important.

In addition to lifting, ask yourself?

  • Do you know the difference between "their", "they're", and "there"?
  • If a date wanted to see live music, do you know 2 or 3 good spots locally?
  • Can you cook a steak to medium rare without cutting into it?
  • Can you name 3 books you've read in the past year?
  • If someone asked you pick a bottle of wine at a restaurant, would you be comfortable? What's a good red wine for spicy food? What's a good wine for Salmon? Do you pronounce that as "Sal-mon"?
  • Can you explain the stock market in two sentences? What about The Fed and interest rates?
  • Are your jeans super baggy and light colored? Does your wardrobe mainly look like the "guy uniform"
  • Do you wear baggy board shorts at the beach, and croakies?
  • Have you seen any of the Oscar-nominated best pictures this year?
  • Can you change a tire, jump a car, change your oil, drive in snow, drive manual?
  • Can you dance comfortably at a wedding? Give a toast? Remember names? Tie your own tie and a bow tie? Are your suit pants baggy and have pleats? What's your jacket size?
  • If you're a Trump supporter, could you hold your own with Ivanka Trump at a party? What about Megyn Kelly?
  • What kind of whiskey drink do girls like? (Old Fashioneds are good)
  • Can you play an instrument?
  • Can you name 2 pieces of art you like? 2 vacations spots you'd recommend (not in Mexico or Caribbean)

Remember the intangibles, and try to be an interesting person. Be put together. Be a little worldly. Be a leader.

Don't forget Classic man skills. What would your grandpa do?

You can be the most jacked Chad in the room, but you need social skills, social proof, POISE, and intangibles, too.

Edit: This is about improving yourself, being a leader, taking it to the next level. Not about trying to impress anyone.
