I’ve just been reading some recent tweets from Nick Krauser where he’s pointed this issue out:

“Your mission is important. Not approaching because "the mission is everything" is another transparent avoidance popular in the manosphere.”

“"Working on my value" is the new meta-weasel of the manosphere. As is "fighting the feminists".... anything to avoid cold approach.”

Not that we shouldn’t be attacking feminism either, but that’s a long-term strategy that will take years to show effect.

Anyway, personally I tend to go through cycles of developing: my career, self improvement and game. When I've got a lot of work on or I need to find my work, I'll dedicate time to my career. I'm self-employed so if I do have quiet periods I can spend the time reading, learning new skills or spending extra days in the gym. Or alternatively if I've got that spare time I can go out more to meet girls, message girls numbers I've already got and arrange dates or hook-ups.

I don't think you need to dedicate a huge chunk of you life to learning game - spread it out and learn when you can over a long period of time. I think this can also help prevent against info overload from learning too much game material in a short period of time.

I know learning game, finding girls to approach and maintaining relationships or spinning plates can be time consuming. A lot of arguments I’ve seen here have pointed out that focusing on game a lot in the long-run isn’t fruitful, you’ll be good with women but you have wasted all your time chasing them instead of developing your career or ‘mission’. But I think what you need is a balance.

I think some guys' strategy is that if they raise there 'value' enough, they won't have to learn game. But my argument is, that you still need some skill and experience when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex. Even if your value is high, that doesn't protect you from being gamed by women. Also learning game when your value is low is like constantly running into a battle with a pistol instead of an assault rifle. Imagine how good you'll be a killing when you finally do get the bigger guns.

If you’re MGTOW - that’s fine and I appreciate your choice, but don’t attack any one that wants to develop their game and relationships with women.
