They are very helpful.
Things are so good for me now that I tend to forget or ignore all the bad. The negative posts keep the results of complacency fresh in my mind.
If you're reacting negatively to them, you're not yet where you want to be. Use the anger as fuel to get out more reps.

I do believe.... that when people first come here.... they rage....
Frankly, this subs policy of letting them rage is the most intelligent way of dealing with that so far...
Whaddayougonnado?
Now it would be better if only 10% were ragers but at the rate this sub is growing...
Let them post nasty words on the interwebz, they will calm down eventually.
Plus, they need fuel to break out of their conditioning, why not let them burn their emotional baggage to a crisp?

This. It only becomes a problem when the same dude posts the same thing over and over again.

I read a great quote here on trp about someone being used as a emotional tampong.
Frankly I don't belive you can burn out emotional baggage, and that one have to change thought pattern and develop as a person.

We can have more clear rules and more moderation. Or we could just give it some attention and see what comes out of it. Open up an extra sub where certain ideas and content belongs?

Let.
THEM.
RAGE.
They need it.

Logic is logic. There isn't really a positive or negative side to it, The opinions and ideas expressed are either logical or not. If you think there is too much focus on negative REALITIES, then that's another issue entirely. Either way concern trolling IMO.
[–]ccccb 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's obviously not trolling. I don't think you know what that word means.
Those post arent about logic, it is about behavior.
We are so many people on this planet that everyday horrible thing happens. Everything is a reality. When we pick certain topics we are cherry picking.

Lol. I'll just chalk this up to a language barrier and say "good day to you."
[–]sanglupus 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I'm assuming your native language is russian of some type?
[–]ccccb 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes, Russian, the Norwegian type.

Naivety is another word for Blue Pill. It is quite true that a lot of the 121k subscribers have not been divorce raped themselves, or cuckolded, or played as a patsy, or falsely accused of rape. However, it is important to keep in mind how the world works if you are not careful. Not to worry needlessly, but to see how situations can develop, and step around the pitfalls. It can help avoid a lot of messed up lives, even if it is just by ramming home the lesson DO.NOT.MARRY.

I liked your last statement there! Specially is the US the guys gets a hard divorce rape. Yes, it is important! But I am not naive, I know these thing have happened and can happen. It's all about who you cross paths with. And I do think there needs to be some information about it, but not like a news station reporting bad shit.
[–]Sawagurumi 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sorry, I was unclear. I was not claiming that you are naive. I was saying (poorly) that seeing a number of these sort of stories is an antidote to naivety for new members, those who are new to the whole idea, and may think that the statements in the sidebar are overblown hyperbole.

Let us hope they never will be.

The anger phase / echo chamber is unavoidable. Any media you search for is going to cater to what you're searching for, thus increasing the subjective intensity. That's basic polarization at work, most notably in political media.
TRP, at its center, is a very calm philosophy.
The raging is the sub's protective outer shell. It stops any disease from spreading, stops the creeping SJW. TRP's unapproachability is its strength.
You'll have to practice critical thinking: you should extract what you need from TRP and skim the rest.

Do not concern troll on TRP.
