So I just saw Giselle. The story is basically about an alpha widow who got humped and dumped by an alpha, joined a misandric feminist and her group of sexually frustrated uglies who creep shame men to death, doesn't give a fuck about the nice beta, white knight who gets killed by them but interferes when they try to get the alpha guy, despite him pretty much ruining her life.

It was RP as fuck! And all of the chicks thought it was "romantic"!

It got me thinking and I just realized that there are tons of RP stuff in classical stories, novels and plays - Count Monte Christo, Les Vepres Sicillienes, Gone with the wind, Les miserables, etc.

It's so weird. Chicks always fall for the bad guys, while cool male protagonists fall for the nice, conservative virgins while disregarding the "strong" women and the female audience finds it romantic!
