Hi trp, I have a question that might seem kind of bizzare but that I've been wondering about. I recently watched Glengarry Glenn Ross and I was blown away by Alec Baldwin's 5 minute scene, he exuded so much swagger and "alphaness" and I was wondering how an actor would prepare for such a role and what someone looking to improve themselves could learn from it? Could this be a way to pick up desirable mannerisms and behaviors?

Acting is all about becoming someone else, and while I'm not suggesting you create an alter ego, if you were an actor and you had play a role like a Tyler Durden, surely that would be a great way to learn about body language and how to project confidence. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

In case you haven't seen the scene to which I am referring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kZg_ALxEz0
