I've been recently testing this new approach to opening that has already developed a good track record. I'll start off by saying I got turned to this sub at the start of the year and Ive been avidly coming to it for advice. I might not have taken the whole pill but I have been using inspiration from everybody's posts to implement within my own style.

My big problem was always opening. Im semi-neurotic so naturally I would compute every possible outcome in my head before making a move. In rare cases it would work to my advantage, in most cases it would just stall me enough for "opporunities to disappear".

Lately I've been trying to say the first thing that comes to mind before an approach and go with it. I'm with the concept of maintaing frame and commiting, but this is simpler than that. The pure reactionary nature of that thought will be transmitted to the target, and if we nix expectations, it will allow for the opening necessary to steer the conversation in your direction.

The rest is up to you. Im nonexpert, as I said above I just go woth what rings true to me, but I know that the above is the perfect setup to your own game.
