TL;DR: place yourself in specific geographical regions to maximize your success rate as long as you know what your extrinsic value is.

Body: Something I’ve been talking with a friend and mentor about for a while is how strategic locations can totally change other people (read: womens’) outlook on you. Here’s a bit of a back story. I grew up a white, upper middle class guy with no real spectacular outlying features. I’m average height, not richer than most people I live around, etc. I’ve tended to live in neighborhoods in cities where other upper middle class white guys live and my success with women has been average. I’ve had a few time where I’ve been in “different” neighborhoods – maybe areas where minorities tend to be a bit more prevalent, and I feel like my value has gone up. On a macro level, an example of this would be a white guy in Asia, or a Brit living in the states. There are strategic locations you can place yourself in that will maximize your value without you really having to do anything. While this would normally seem counter-intuitive to TRP, the key here is that as long as you understand what others see as value in yourself, it doesn’t matter. Let me repeat that. If I’m in a working class community where all of a sudden my value is higher than those around me and I use it to my own advantage, it doesn’t matter to me because I understand why my value is high. If you’re flabbergasted and go all beta bux on some hoe, then you’ve got problems. For me, as long as I’m getting some and know exactly why without giving any commitment in return – despite how expected it may be – it doesn’t matter to me.

I would challenge people here to pick their locations (at least while you’re on your journey to self-betterment that will render most of this obsolete) based on where you will have the most success. Don’t live in a neighborhood in a city where you’re one in a million. Hang out where the fact that you’re a homeowner with a steady job is a rarity. Or move countries, etc.

I’d be interested to here others’ perspectives on this theory.. I believe by changing your location (whether it be a different bar, a different neighborhood, or a different country) you can strategically maximize your own value. As long as you are aware of why others perceive you as higher value and don’t let yourself be used because of it, you can reap massive rewards.
