I have literally no relevant information to contribute to any conversation that takes place about popular culture, TV shows, current events etc..

Instead I speak for my own amusement and believe me that leaves a greater impression on someone as opposed to being able to add to their current topic of conversation.

I understand this problem completely and I realized that I just needed to become a more interesting individual. I was really worried when I started to hit on more women that I wouldn't have anything to say that would keep them interested. I realized not only how to ramble better(and keep content fresh), but how to make myself better. Now talking with people is a lot more fun, and conversation is far from stale.

If you keep the conversation to matters concerning their home, their work, their neighborhood, and their family and friends, you are golden. Stray off the reservation and you will be punished.

You can always amuse yourself by making shit up - like "what do you think about the new Iranian Naval base in Cuba?"

I noticed this when I was in college. I also notice it at work but we know work is work and work isn't the place to talk about RP. The only solution here is to either be your own guy or blend in. Watch the TV shows. I watch The Walking Dead even though I couldn't care less about the show - my coworkers love it though. The same with Breaking Bad when it was on. It was a good show but I could live without it.

You need to do what they do and watch what they watch so that you can relate and talk to each other.
