This is one of the best things you can do for yourself when doing anything. Try to sit back and listen to your thoughts, but don't act on them or react to them. Let them come and go. Listen to your body, your feelings, and how your current thoughts effects your current mindstate. Then analyze how these thoughts are effecting your state, your body language, your behavior.
