Took wife out to a fancy dinner Sat night. Picked up a bottle of wine on the way home.

Friday:

Approached a blonde 8 who wanted some song playing, ran some light game on her but truthfully i wasnt really feeling it. Opted for a number close. Anticipated that I'd get a fake one when she couldn't remember her number and had to call over her friend who recited it from memory but she got her phone out for me to call it there and then to confirm. Saturday:

Made a fatal error in terms of game, had sex like 2 hours before heading out. Killed my hunger. One of the doormen i was chatting with pointed out a fairly hot 7.5 face, 9 body regular who was apparently giving me "that look" (his words) but i couldnt be bothered to persue. She came over later and we had a bit of a chat, she was definitely flirting but i wasnt giving her much to work with and it came to nothing. Later an extraordinarily good looking "alternative" looking girl comes in, tattoos up the arms and across the back, piercing on her spine, all things i hate but she was so good looking to begin with it balanced out.

She gives me an intense stare from the dance floor, which i return, over she comes for a song, i refuse her first request and agree to her second choice. Later on, 20 minutes or so i play her first request, i knew i would but i thought I'd wind her up. Over she comes "asshole why did you say you wouldn't" playful like. "For a laugh".

She ends up introducing herself properly. Roz, not into clubs but Marylin Manson (figures). She's hanging on my forearms, giving seriously intense eye contact but my hunger just wasnt there. Hell she was making it so easy as well, if i didnt say anything she's just smile and wait, fluttering her brown eyes (my favourite)

Then she hits me with a shit test so potent that it could have been laser guided. "Theres a guy in here wont stop hitting on me" i look over, he's 50lbs overweight and neck bearded. I respond "well he isn much to look at but i love a man with ambition, so I've got to give him some credit" she laughs "Its full of weirdos this place, everyone thinks I'm trying it on with them, and I'm totally not"

Now to me, this is a tailor made shit test, it goes directly into my biggest problem - The difference between friendly banter and genuine interest.

It sets off a feedback loop in my head:

1: Sexual tension is undeniable 2: But she's way out of your league 3: And she says everyone thinks theres sexual tension with her.

In the end i plowed through but suffered from my classic blue pill days problem - FTL. Failure to Lunge.

The opportunity to kiss her was there. She was begging for it, but i let it slide. In the end i kept running game and got her to confirm she was coming back next week to see me, but my lack of any attempt to escalate has probably killed it. No sex pre-game from now on.

Nothing over the weekend per se, but...

Have lurked here for awhile. Long story short, got told by a girl I was seeing last winter that she wanted a break. She was definitely on a pedestal and I oneitis'd her. Friday:

While taking the train from the city centre in the evening, I spot a blonde at the central train station. Short, blonde and beautiful. Some guy is peering over his shoulder while I step towards her and comment on the early christmas tree in the central station. I let her do a short school presentation that she was working on in the cafe, and I sit next to her to listen. She tells me to sit there, to listen to her presentation so she can "see me". I tell her to join, but at this point she seems almost a bit bored. I do not know at exactly which point she got bored, but the last physical move I did was a side-hug where she didnt lean in. I had sat myself completey wrong beside her, as her bag was in between and I didnt want to be grabbing her bag.

She declines because she says she has to get up early in the morning but that she could give take my number and call. She also called my telephone. I tried to talk about what we can do, and she said a bit laughingly that "we can do whatever, meet whenever". I tried to get an appointment, because of the high flake rates on telephone numbers without a "date" except hanging out.

Perhaps this was actually a bit of a fail in this scenario.

She was maybe only going to stay until 12.december because then the exams for the internet studies program are over.

So I assume this one will be a flake, especially given that she seemed to get a bit bored after a while. Her enthusiasm at getting my number was a bit promising though.

I had a drunken potluck at my house with all my old college friends this weekend, and my recent ex came as well since we know the same people. I'm not mad at her or anything, so we got along well. I'm not even mad, but I'm quite amused. i've confirmed again that a man's perceived local social status can make or break his attractiveness, and that it's essential to continually reinforce your social status in front of a woman, or else she might get bored. with some women, you really do have to work on taking her out, showing her off, and showing yourself off by putting yourself into situations where people show respect and admiration for you. it' fucking exhausting, in my opinion. i don't even know why i try to get into exclusive relationships any more.

I had a number of things happen both good and bad.

First approach of the night I was playful with. I made her jump through two hoops. On the first it was guessing my name, the second was guessing my age. For the second one, I finally told her I would tell her, but she would need to give me a kiss first. She agreed, but said we needed to go outside where her friend couldn't see. Hoop theory works, her friends will slut shame so isolate.

Finally made that throwaway for posting here.

Friday was a good night as far as entertainment. Went to a house show, had a good time, didn't really sweat women. I'm still new to this college town (junior, first semester of transfer) so I'm still putting a lot of effort into cultivating social circles.

Saturday, however, was a different story altogether. At first it seemed like a lame evening with nothing to do so I played some billiards in the student game room until they closed. The fallout from fucking her would have been nowhere near worth the lay itself so I threw it back. Plenty of fish amiright? As for her I'm thinking I'll try co opting her friendship for winging and social proof.

I'm sure this isn't how most of you define victory but it was a big one for me as I was having a bit of doubt about the effectiveness of my transformation. Thanks to the community for helping me come unplugged!
