Listen, I’m the last guy here to take any advice from. That’s why I won’t give it. Instead, I genuinely ask for yours.

I’ve lurked and consumed material here more than I contribute. Even so, my consumption of the material was rather one sided. It was a selfish endeavor to seek fast and easy growth and a new mentality. I never put too much thought into it. Too much time to lose; “Lets just read the easy stuff but not try on the others”, I thought. Mistakes were made and I basically skimmed the rest. I’m ashamed to admit that I was trying to fake it til I made it. Sorry future me... but thanks to this community for helping people like me see beyond cultural and social boundaries.

So tonight is my day 1 of Frame Control. Since I cannot focus on changing everything at once, I will start with the basics, progressing (hopefully!) everyday.

Stage 1 From what I read, it motivated me to groom, lift, and work on myself. I started to use products and buy colognes I’d never wear, clothes, and gym memberships. I’ve grown physically, got stronger and put meat on these bones. I’ve looked and felt better in years. People notice, and people shit test. A lot more when they see you’re changing.

I started to care about how I looked, but was blind to how to acted around others.

Stage 2. Company politics is crazy. It’s a great place to show what you’re capable of and to see where you fit. It’s not great, however when you’re barely at the bottom. Although I’m in a great position over others, I’ve always been the skinny comical “boy”, at least to some. That and thanks to failing shit tests, really helped with the perception people have of you. The typical frustrations of seeing the girl you like and had a thing with fall for another guy is a daily occurrence. It’s what led me to TRP.

She says I’m strong outside but inside I’m faking everything.

(Weakness defines character)

Stage 3. Now. This is now. This is still a fresh start. I know I can never be “perfect” and come across as a total alpha. That’s not me. However, my challenges are still ahead of me. Frame Control: Resilience Self assurance Confidence Wisdom Humor Reaction Honesty Identity

But most of all, to remain true to self. That means I wake up each day with love and respect for everyone, and to mean every thing I say and do (with the consequences attached) and live passionately. To say that is easy; but the challenge is letting ours actions speak for us.

It also means to become stronger. Inside and out. For me, holding frame doesn’t mean to never let your mask down. It means to be not fake it. To never let the outside world define us and to bend our destiny.

Frame isn’t something we hold, It’s something we have. It’s what holds us up.

Thanks for reading.
