I couldn't agree with you more. On your first point though, they've never had to humble themselves to anything. Think about the culture they grew up with that we are constantly critiquing, their feelings have always been made important and have always been told that they are special and everything will work out for them in the end. (If you think that only girls are told fairytale endings your kidding yourself, just look at the plethora of posts that make it explicitly clear that men's inherent value is nothing and you must work towards it)

I am fairly new to TRP myself but would say I was about 75% of the way there on my own as I graduate with my degree in Evolutionary Psychology in June and played a D1 sport throughout college. But still I know when to shut up and listen. Some of the best advice I have ever received is "You can't expect to learn anything knew if you're the one always doing the talking"

The TRP communities online as a whole have always been young neckbeards "thirsty" for sex attention. It's no different today than it was 15 years ago. I'm in my 40s and have seen no major changes.

It may be because you're almost 40. Hopefully you've gleaned the quality material you need for the next decade.

Soon you'll need to be a mentor to others, if you're not one already. By 40 a guy should already be on his path and be capable of passing on his knowledge. I'm glad for TRP because it opens new relationships for me to help the next generation create a foundation for success.

But even after one swallows the bitter pill, the vast majority fail and fall into old habits. Oneitis is that strong.

I'm 41 and (for the same reasons you quoted) I've limited my TRP reading to mostly the dudes who have those cool badges by their usernames.

I'm grateful for their contribution, because it's free and valuable/interesting/entertaining, and I mostly disregard other posts because, yeah, you said it.

To be fair, some posters are decent enough to state their age early enough in their posts, so I can just stop reading about their high school / first year of college problems, because that shit is so far behind me I can't even...

tl,dr: there's good stuff here if you learn to separate the wheat from the chaff
