I've tried both so let me tell you about the difference, even though this is the wrong subreddit.

If you just start, do indirect. It's a lot easier to get into and you can slowly get better over time. Direct is more of an advanced type of thing. If you don't already have huge balls and a self esteem as big as the sun you're going to seriously have problems with it. If you do though, I would encourage you to only do direct. It's a much more efficient (timewise) and effictive (because you can create incredible attraction right from the beginning) method.

Say whatever you like. It's all about the sub communication that women notice far more than us. I've noticed this quite a bit over the past year when I just said "fuck it" and said whatever I like. If you're physical with her and are socially calibrated to a certain degree, you be fine with saying whatever.

For depends on the girl. I mostly go for a mix of mystery and direct. You just have to know which to use at the time.
