TL;DR : Powertalk is used everywhere and all the time. TRP teaches us how to understand it and use it.

Women are naturally manipulative, justify their methods and often talk in power talk. Men are none of the above. TRP sheds light on this and teaches us how to manipulate, justify, and power talk thus leading to various amounts of success.

Its nurture vs. nature; hard-work vs. talent.

So now let me tell you a story proving my point. Its summer for college students and this is the time where all the clubs positions are filled. I apply for a high board position in some club. Competition is fierce there are many who want that spot and they are all smart. I get a text from girl B. Now let me tell you a little bit about B. She’s hot, cute, smart, and likeable and knows it thus she gets her way. I’ve actually once sat down with her while she composed a text trying to get information out of someone while maintaining plausible deniability Thus the moment I see her name on my phone I know. I know that the games have begun. (Let me add that we did not speak for a month and the last time it was awkward)

She starts with a hello, how are you, what you up to. Then says that she wants to ask me questions about the position but first must know if I applied or not. Now the old me wouldn’t even have known her true intentions and would’ve given her everything. But not the new me. This is power talk, we are exchanging information and leverage. I tell her to ask whatever she wants.

She asks her questions and I simply tell her I can’t answer them because I applied and my plan was to ask her if she wants to work with me. BITCH GOT OUTPLAYED.

She then asks me why I didn’t tell her that before she asks her questions.

Then I remember all the threads I read, and just decide to steer the conversation elsewhere asking her if she open to my suggestion or not. She says yes

Then says thank you for manipulating me to giving up my questions

BITCH GOT OUTPLAYED AND SHE KNOWS IT

Presently, I made a smart female competitor to work with me – and my plan is to make her work beneath me. While the alternative wouldve been to have more competition and higher risk of loss.

Now im not some TRP god or even a master; im an amateur. However, when I think about myself before my exposure to TRP and reflect on how this conversation wouldve ended I cringe.
