My quick take:

Very few men (1% wild ass guess) can have as much sex as the typical female. It is thrust at them constantly. Thus the argument of a double standard is much more theoretical than reality.
Men would prefer women with less experience. (for too many reasons to list) Women actually prefer men who are in high demand and experienced.
Men aren't hypergamous. IMHO, high sexual experience by women lowers there ability to be satisfied and happy.
Most of us could be happily monogomous with women who aren't needy, irrational, emotional, narcissists. We have taken to splinning plates out of necessity, perhaps a reaction to female privilege, sluttyness, hypergamy, and western family courts.
Make no mistake. Men spinning plates are doing what women have always done.

Women's dualistic strategy - hypergamy - 'party' with the alphas, then 'snach up' a beta when too old - AFBB Alpha men's dualistic stategy - 'party' with the sluts or/then settle down with a non-slut. Or keep on partying. Beta men are left to pick up the crumbs after sluts turn 30.

They are not the same as women's value piques faster but also declines faster. As long as you don't marry a slut you win. It's not fair but that's the biological reality.
