Don't want to hear the knee-jerk "don't you know all straight male porn stars have to do bi/gay porn first". Having known a few people in the industry, it's not true.

  • You are never trying to meet new women, as it's part of your job. Actually get to relax when you get home and not be consumed with focusing on your next notch or wondering when or if you'll see her again. You may have the inverse problem of having too much sex & being tired from that.

  • Don't spend the majority of your free time on weekends scrambling through your phone on Tinder/Bumble/any dating app looking for a new date. No thinking of "how do I say to her" a second time. We've all been there.

  • Don't have to spend money on drinks/dinner on women, which never guarantees anything to begin with. Instead, you get paid for it, even if it's not that much.

  • You're the envy of millions of men out there. You don't have to navigate orbiters, put up with her responding to orbiters, talking about orbiters. True long-lasting relationships given the ratio are nearly impossible today.

  • You may become a male sex symbol (the ultimate compliment to a male). Women may openly tell their friends, or even their boyfriends/husbands they fantasize about you. Women may want to sleep with you just off finding out you work in porn.

  • Everything is recorded & everyone is tested every other week.

  • No annoying middle-management or corporate herd mentality to navigate.

  • Society may judge you, but no one will ever feel bad for you (the way they might for a single computer programmer)...you are getting the one thing consistently every man wants. Attractive women, assuming you're not into BBW porn (which does exist).

Also, "porn star" doesn't mean world-famous, just someone working in porn.

Besides the fact it appears sleazy to society, there's really nothing bad about it. I actually think most guys could do it as well. It's always made to sound like some difficult line of work by those in the porn industry, but I think a lot of that is just to make it sound halfway legitimate.
