Do people here perceive themselves as alphas or just aspire to be alphas? Frankly, the alpha occupies the space you want, and that inherently means that you are a beta to that alpha. I think there's a hierarchy of competing alphas and competing betas, each working that particular strategy. The lowliest wanna be alpha who is utterly unqualified will fail compared to the best beta game player. To reiterate the question: do you think you're an alpha work in progress or a beta working to be an alpha?

Also if the mods could add me as an approved submitter that would be great. I don't like having to turn off the subreddit style to comment or submit although I understand why it should be set up like that.
