Standards and Looking at Things in a Different Light

TLDR: For people seeking LTR. Abundance mentality is impossible when one actually has none. All he can do is raise his standards. This involves getting the thought of slutty woman out of his head and expect better. Know that there are a bunch of them out there, know all woman are hypergamous (we in a capitalist society for god sakes), but expect better. If you don't get a unicorn, you may least get something passable.

There’s a saying that you attract what you expect, that we should raise our standards. From most men, women can hide anything, yet they cannot learn how to cook, and have a supportive friend group within a week. We shouldn’t look for red flags when it’s so much better to look for green flags and notice red flags. There’s a sense of insecurity to people who actively look for red flags. Notice red flags, yes, give off a detective vibe, no. To raise one standards, it helps to see things in a different light.

Now consider what a slut is. Someone who has nothing to show for the time that has passed by in their life because it was spent on frivolous activities. Unintentional, drunk, immature, all the same.

So I’m going to drop an atomic bomb here. There’s nothing wrong with sleeping with a lot of men. I’d love a woman who has slept with a thousand men, still counting, and is guaranteed to be a great mother, cooks, connects, emotionally, appreciates me, and has sex as if she hadn’t slept with a thousand men. In real life, I would never look twice at a woman like that though, because I’d like my odds at the lottery better. I don’t glance at lottery tickets.

There’s nothing wrong with a guy does a lot of drugs, plays video games, and is guaranteed to be lifting, financially banking yet has time for hobbies. Now, unlike women there are some guys that can pull that off, but as for myself, I wouldn’t count on it. Some guy who only does the first two activates and have nothing to show for? Well, they do call man sluts, studs, but those guys are just sluts.

There’s nothing wrong with woman sleeping with a lot of men and having to show for – everyone lives their own lives. The problem is when that woman comes to your door to settle down for a paycheck after some red flag hiding. Hypocrisy is the root of all evil. But when one mentality is avoiding a bad woman instead of accepting better women, he’s more likely to land a bad one. There’s no unicorn and awalt, but let’s face it, there’s passable, worse, and disastrous.

There’s nothing wrong with a man who does nothing with his life and has nothing to show for it. The problem comes when he expects a passable girl. Too good to be true? Not even ons material. Raise your standards for yourself. Ons are fine, but don’t let it be a bird trap.

Raise your standards is like abundance mentality. But it’s impossible to have abundance mentality when you at the bottom. All you can do, is raise your standards. Negative thoughts are toxic, get over them. Look at things in another light.
