I don't know all the details of it, but a close friend of mine, lets call him steve, was almost expelled from university and convicted on some kind of BS sexual assault claim.

He was in the student's union nightclub (Don't know if you have those in the US? basically a union run by students that provides a lot of facilities and services on campus. They often run stuff like coffee shops, a bar or a club, at discount prices exclusively for their students.) when he sees a girl slumped on a couch in the corner, passed out drunk. He decided to try and help her, and tried to carry her over to security to get first aid or call an ambulance. However before he gets to security, this drunk girl wakes up, slaps him and runs to security informing them that she thought he was going to rape her.

He's duly kicked out of the club, and the university are notified of the situation as the club is university affiliated. Full investigation is launched, he has multiple meetings with senior staff and is questioned by the police. Security footage shows him picking her up and walking to towards the exit, so it's not looking good.

He was accused of trying to roofy and date rape her. Thankfully the case was thrown out and all charges dropped after the girls tox screen showed nothing other alcohol in her system. I think it was essentially just her word against his, and no intent could be proved.

Sadly he was still banned from the union for 6 months, which is quite a big deal as the student union is a very important body, and it is a permanent black mark on his student record that would have consequences if he were to ever get in more trouble with the university. Basically meant he was excluded from all student events and denied the rights and services the union provides. I think the girl got a restraining order on him as well.

TL;DR: Don't help drunk girls...

A woman I never had sex with claimed I raped her on a phone call. I don't drink and I don't have sex while the woman is drunk so it was impossible for me to forget having sex with her.

Blocked her. AFAIK, she never called the po-po.

Ex-wife stalked me and went to the police claiming I was harassing her. When I sent police the evidence of stalking (which is a crime), they said "don't play her games". "What about the evidence I just sent you which should comfortably convict her?" "I said, don't play her games."

What?

So basically, if you are going to break up with a woman, get some nice flirty texts from her first and then block all contact. Don't even tell her you are breaking up with her. Women are vindictive bitches when it comes to being dumped and the police are more than happy to help.

I did have a couple of nice breakups though. One sent me a really long message about how I hurt her and how she thought I was just using her for sex (I wasn't, but I'm just not in a LTR mode right now.) The other just went ghost. Completely.

This reminds me that I fuck hot women on the regular.

Throwaway here

I was actually dismissed from my College for an accusation of rape.

The girl claimed (months after we had sex) that she never gave consent and that she was stunned by how fast things were moving.

Her story was bullshit, and she and I had still talked every now and then. But seems like she got weirded out by me and her friends were wondering what was up between us. Instead of admitting something I guess she didnt enjoy, she claimed I raped her. Even with contradicting stories, proof she lied about a part of her story and no proof what so ever happened that night, the school believed her over me. All because she seemed "different" afterwards based on what her friends were saying.

Worst semester of my life, lost my jobs at the school and can't come back for almost 2 years not to mention it stays on my transcript. Almost had a mental breakdown and gained a bit of weight. I can only go up from here, but man that bitch ruined a lot for me....

Sorry, still angry about it but yeah, false rape claims suck. This case never even went to the police. Only stayed a school thing

Never dealt with any rape allegations, but I do a few things to make sure this will never happen to me.

If you are not willing to record the direct evidence to save yourself from a lifetime in jail, there is an alternative. Take them out for coffee or something to eat directly afterwords or in the morning.

Somewhere there are lots of people. Somewhere there are video cameras. All major fast food restaurants and Denny's, 7-11's, etc. have video cameras.

Pay with a credit or debit card to have a time/date record of the transaction. Make sure you appear in a good mood and not controlling her behavior in any way. Remember, you are being filmed.

I don't have to go into all of the reasons women will lie about being assaulted, just know that it can happen and you will need direct evidence proving otherwise.

Never had it happen, likely since rape itself along with false rape accusations are not common at all. In this day and age of constant text messaging it's very easy to save evidence to prove your innocence, not that you should have to in any sane legal system.
