Summary:
You can improve your life by learning how to read critically
Body:
You’ve spent your whole life being told your questions aren’t dumb. INSIDIOUS LIES. You can lose, you’re not a special snowflake, and sometimes you ask dumb fucking questions.
For example:
Wrote a post the other day about banging women. Made it clear I like to bang women more than once. Somebody proceeded to ask if what I wrote applied to ONS. Dumb question.
Clearly, the so-called education we have failed some of us. Let's go over some stuff I picked up. Yes, I paid attention in high school and learned how to think and read critically. Maybe I went to a decent school, or had decent teachers. Who knows.
CRITICAL READING:
Be patient and read the entire post
Good writer’s will write in a way where questions arise naturally as you read their post, and then they will answer the question. Don’t read a paragraph, come up with some questions, and shoot to the bottom to ask it for fuck’s sake. Finish the post, your question was most likely answered.
If it doesn’t make sense to you, read it again
If it sounds wrong read it anyway
Truth is often jammed between lies. With a brain, you have the ability to tell what’s true from what isn’t. Part of this process is the ability to absorb without judgment. Absorb the information without taking it for granted, and then sort through it yourself. This takes practice. But see if it makes sense to you. Fuck "experts," start learning to trust yourself.
Judge
"like omg u just teld me nut 2 judge"
Some writing is shit. Some is good. Some you like but others think it’s shit. So on and so forth. Have an opinion, have a good reason for it. Men judge. Being “non-judgmental” is BP faggotry that will cuck you. Hold frame as you express your opinions and judgments, but be mature enough to be able to admit you were wrong when you discover you were wrong. That’s a very important step. As long as you’re right about everything you can’t really learn. BP men who resist the pull of the truth in TRP refuse to admit that they spent X number of years being wrong about women. Lol
Consider your source
Maybe you don’t know, but you can click a username and see all of their past activity. If you click mine, you’ll see three or four posts, bunch of comments, questions, and you’ll find I discovered TRP sometime last fall. My comments show my growth, and you can see a slow mental change from blue to red. Remember: you can do this with every user. This will help you put their post into context.
Read the comments
Truth has a way of resonating with those ready to hear it. TRP is like a magnet for those ready to hear it. And it repulses those overly invested in their BP fantasy. If you read something and it seems off, read some more shit. And then read some more shit on it. Take those perspectives, compare them with yours, and find the truth. It’s somewhere there.
Every post has comments. If a post has 163 comments, that’s 163 different perspectives there to aid you. The comments on a post are just as valuable and in some cases more valuable than the post itself. Read them.
Mentally engage the content
Ask questions: Is this true? Is this reasonable? Can I apply this to my life? Has this happened to me before? Why would the author say something like this? Is he in anger phase? Is he a newbie? Is he an Amused Master? What would happen if I tried this out? Etc. etc.
TL;DR:
Reading critically is a learned skill that you can develop.
- Be patient and read the entire post
- If it doesn’t make sense to you, read it again
- If it sounds wrong read it anyway
- Judge
- Consider your source
- Read the comments
- Mentally engage the content
Last key to reading critically is WRITING YOUR OWN SHIT. Write and post, gentlemen.
