Title is clickbait.
Topid is nonetheless interesting, brothers. All this social market stuff has started reminding me of the Buddhist concept of Maya. A lot of things start to make sense. MGTOW, monk mode.
Do you think that its a coincidence that Buddhists removed themselves from the cycle of mating (celibacy), like the Indian aesetics before them, and their ultimate goal was removing themselves from the 'stream of birth-and-death' entirely?
In India, there were four life stages. Virgin, adult, householder, old people. All the old people literally removed themselves from society and went out into the forest to seek enlightenment, which contributes maybe to Indian society not advancing much in ancient times. But the point is, they're no longer high value for mating, let's go be monks.
Same concept seems to apply to Buddhism. And monks, in medieval Europe. At the time, the expectation that you have land or a business before marrying and the way feudal inheritance worked made a lot of men spurious to the mating market.
I personally never really appreciated MGTOW. Something in me just responds to the whole TRP awakening with the battlecry of 'slay these bitches!'. But maybe there never will be a world of alpha shitlords with harems (and if there was, wouldn't there be an even more obvious underclass of dudes excluded from the market?); there will probably always be a need for stuff like MGTOW. Maybe MGTOW is an inexorable part and parcel of the market that can never go away. Like cat herders.
And what if... The actual meaning of human life blah blah lies outside dominance in the various markets?
The greatest thinkers mostly did pretty poorly in all those markets... Especially the extremely-chumpy-with-women original TRP god, Friedrich Nietzsche.
Flame me, should you like.
