Think the term "God" could also be interchangeable with the word "Nature" and that "religion" could be viewed as "Natural Law". One woman for one man spreads the gene pool. If 1 alpha impregnated the lot, well, everyone is incestuous which leads to birth defects and retardation. One man for One woman is the best way to have healthy reproduction.

When I see religion, I see Natural Law in all its glory, and I see it with the cover story of Islam or Christianity. This 'atheism' movement alarms me because it is a slap in the face of those who would keep Natural Law in order, which also means controlling hypergamy, polygamy and the spread of sexually transmitted disease.

I don't think Atheisms popularity and the subsequent popularity of Game and Redpill are unrelated. One brought on the other.

We are genes trying to reproduce, but if we are to reproduce in the healthiest way we should adhere to religious integrity. If you've stepped into a church in the last few years though, you'll have noticed that there aren't any broads there between 14 and 44, except the single mothers on the prowl for a "good man".

In this world, it will do you no good to follow biblical rules. That would ruin a man. I think anyone wanting to live a good life needs to game, seduce, pump n dump all the way through his 20's and at SMV peak, find an innocent young girl who will be so smitten be your alpha SMV ways and your adept game that she will be forever at your command. This is my plan anyway...

The atheists are smart enough to understand god is a lie, but not smart enough to understand why they were lied to and compete against religions. Maybe a red-pill society can do it.

Its so hard to explain to new life that evolution demands they act a certain way in order to survive and not fuck up millions of years of evolution. Its far easier to tell stories about floods and arcs and angels. But the absense of angels flying around does not make for a lie. Its just a big metaphor.

They say that to be religious you must be either really dumb, or really smart. As in dumb enough to take it at face value or smart enough to know what it really means. Atheists are the people in between. Won't accept the face value, refuse to see the underlying truths of evolution (ironically)

This is really bad. For so many reasons (mostly involving poor knowledge of genetics,psychology, philosophy and considering the lack of understanding of what a corollary is - deductive reasoning).Since I do not have the energy right now to tear down the framework itself , I will make a few points from within the framework to hopefully cast a few seeds of doubt in the minds of the reader that will lead them away from this drivel.

How? What do you mean seek? Are they all conspiring in unison ? All twenty odd thousand of them ? Even the ones that contradict each other ? Richard Dawkins in The Selfish Gene only uses this narrative because the effects of genes (specific genes not the entire genome in concert) can be studied as though the gene has a will of its own.However this effect is only visible when viewed retrospectively so it is useless to posit that all of your genes (even ones undesirable for selection) have direct access to your emotions. Lets leave plants ,fungi, anemones, and various asexually reproducing organisms out of this.In humans this is -not true for women (~50%).Also not true for prepubescent children or the geriatric population that does not have a sex drive.Even for men it is not simply ‘how can I get laid?’ , if it was everyone would just go to prostitutes or settle for fat girls/ugly girls.Its also about the manner in which one gets laid.People's self worth is invested in the manner not the simple fact of getting laid.

There is nothing true to be comforted by, only lies can comfort.

My house is not on fire today.There's a beautiful woman in my bed. I have money saved for a rainy day. I have skills that will always remain with me even if everything I have built falls apart. And so on and so forth.

Things like viewing death of an innocent person cause us much distress since they represent loss of genes.

Rubbernecking. Gladiators. Death on TV. Liveleak. Cheering on the apocalypse.

Not only there is no god, there is also no proof of innate value to human life.

I think you'll find that the words he used were a bit abstract but in line with evolution. Our genes do seek to replicate. So much so that they create bodies with minds that think about sex. It's quite elaborate. Make no mistake, we are replicating machines.

We are programmed evolutionarily to perform behaviors that maximize our likelihood to reproduce. Eating, sleeping, drinking, these are all means to survive long enough to reproduce. Once you have basic needs taken care of, mating becomes one of the strongest drives we have as adults.

Cancer exists, not as a purposeful tool, but as a side effect of evolution- which is that the things that kill us only get weeded out if they are able to kill us before we mate. Cancer exists because most people who get cancer are after baby-making ages.

Unless you're religious- most of us consider the "soul" to be our consciousness, which is a product of our biological machine called the brain.

It may not be a conscious effort, but each creature has either a mechanism or a drive to reproduce. Source? They reproduce. We don't consider plants sentient, so I would describe their reproduction as a mechanism that is successful nevertheless.

Oh it's absolutely true, but it's an unconscious drive. They want alpha cocks. They want mates. Some call it love, others follow lust. All of it a basic drive to have children. (or a basic drive that results in children).

Also not true for prepubescent children or the geriatric population that does not have a sex drive.

Children have drives that allow it to survive long enough to mature sexually. Anybody who does not have any sex drive after puberty is an evolutionary anomaly that weeds itself out in exactly one generation (i.e. genes not passed down, evolutionarily defunct, non-viable genes)

You're mistaking abstract layers for different motivations. Why does a man opt for success in his life? Because he is evolutionarily programmed to do so, because in evolution, females go for successful men. Yes, he may derive satisfaction from accomplishment, but make no mistake, this is because accomplishment is beneficial in sexual selection.

And you will die. And it can happen tomorrow. The comfort is believing your skills remain with you, because reality is you could be crippled in a car accident tonight. Sure some truths are comforting if they're benefiting you right now, but a certain amount of delusion is necessary in a functioning mind. (see: believing one will live)

You're either being purposefully obtuse, or you don't understand evolution and the theories behind sexual selection. Either way, check it- this article is spot on.

Well, it's obvious to me you're a feminist here. Otherwise you'd have an actual rebuttal for what I said.

Of course, anybody who has read a book on evolutionary psychology or sexual selection understands what I wrote. I'm going to assume your malfunction is an inability to even internalize or fathom the concepts here.

We have higher standards for discourse on our sub. I see no reason to keep your sort around here. I'll give you a chance to defend yourself before I ban you.

Your argument is essentially making excuses for what the OP has written and taking liberties in interpreting work that is not even yours. It was a badly written article and i elaborated why, I am not going to argue with some random guy who didn't even write the original .Trying to sound profound does not make it profound and you should have higher standards for submissions in your subreddit because all it will lead to is people eternally clarifying themselves to each other. Also , this evolutionary psychology and genetics you keep bandying about is not a monolithic field which you can use to justify everything you say. Anyway ban away if it makes you feel better its just too exhausting to argue with people like you.Pretty much the only thing worth reading is Rollo's stuff and some of the older Roissy stuff. Everything else has pretty much degenerated, in no small part due to people like yourself. Bye bye.
