Yes.

Thought about this yesterday and I am all for it.

Raising kids the red pill way seems to be much more important for me that pickup artistry stuff.

I feel it would be unnecessary. You're just passing on the information you learn here anyway to your kids.

There have been a few really good posts fairly recently about the topic as well, just type in "father" into the search bar. (I did try linking it, but forgot X-links aren't allowed here)

It might help the new guys with stories of hope about how it is possible to do it right, and specific examples of fatherhood. Maybe testimonials from happy fathers/married guys. Quite a bit of it will end up just being posts from marriedmansexlife, but that's a single author.

I'd agree that much of it is just passing on what you learn here, but the actions and applications differ when dealing with children.

What few discussions I've seen about this have carried through the view of TRP-as-sexual-strategy, and as such a lot assume TRP-context for fathers starts around the same time when puberty starts. I disagree. Fathers who plan on having sons must deal with TRP-related decisions before the children are born, and from pre-verbal stages onwards.

Just several among innumerable examples of issues to deal with that I haven't really seen discussed in the same kind of depth as AWALT/AFBB/etc. in the rest of the manosphere (at least that I can see, if someone knows where this topic is hashed out in-depth please let me know):

  • Extremely feminist-distorted culture in US public school system. Do you decide to set aside time each day to "deprogram" your son? If so, have you already been directing your work life to accommodate that time commitment? Or do you decide to homeschool, in which case have you set up to work from home (do NOT leave the entire schooling to your wife) and still progress in your chosen work pursuit? There are many other possible responses, all of which involve setting up before the children are born.
  • Baby smacks his chin on the floor. No blood, tongue okay, but it clearly hurt and startled. Do you have the frame control to not wince, or not let him see you cringe? This is the earliest form of rejection he learns in the world about him: not everything warmly protects him like his parents, the very physical world itself rejects him in certain contexts. As long as it doesn't draw blood or a welt, by reacting with a matter-of-fact comment that practically agrees-and-amplifies to him yes indeedy, cause-and-effect exists in this world kiddo, you teach him agency starting before he can talk.
  • How do you plan on teaching intrinsic motivation? If you think it springs forth as if Athena from the head of Zeus, then start babysitting friends' toddlers (18 mos. - 36 mos.). One of the most tempting "go to" child-rearing tools is to use a bribe, yet improperly used it creates an outward-focused reward structure in the child.

TRP-teachable moments exist throughout every day for a young boy growing up, if there is/are TRP men around him cognizant of that and have arranged their professional and other lives to be present, observe, and teach at those moments.

I completely agree.

The school is becoming ever-increasingly a feminine environment to be in. Perfect examples are laid out in the (excellent) "let boys be boys" video that hit the front page the other day. "Deprogram" is probably not the word I would use, but teaching him life lessons outside of the school environment is needed.

The school is becoming ever-increasingly a feminine environment to be in.

That's not really good for girls, either.

teaching him life lessons outside of the school environment is needed.

The more of that, the better, for any child.

Check therationalmale.com. Pure gold in there at pretty much every page.

(don't know whether Rollo Tomassi is a father or not, but since he's been married for 15 years, I guess he is)

Yes. 1 daughter.

I'll be married 18 years in July.

If your marriage were a kid it could drink in my country in July. Congratulations.

I don't think we would have enough content to warrant another sub- and I don't think it's off topic here, so I'd gladly take a red pill parenting thread. Take it away.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If you build it, they will come??

[–]eccentricrealist-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes.

[–]chakravanti93-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not off topic but the very lack of abundance betwixt a markedly seperate and, quite frankly, higher stakes skill set has me in agreement.

You can reroll women but you can't reroll kids you've secured legal custody of without orders of magnitude more work.

Women need to be treated like children for an effective relationship but children cannot be treated like women.

I also believe the lack of content and discussion is due to not having a seperate container for the content. As TRP is consantly attending an influx of new hamsters to the slaughter, many of our constituants display childish thoughts and have to be countered with some rather raw realization about sex.

You see, I personally at least, would never feel comfortable discussing anything remotely real regarding the rearing of a child of mine here.

That said, I don't know that it should be discussed in a venue this public because where do you draw the line? How can someone who chooses to care for bastard children be given respect as Red Pill? Does my brother have to die and I to marry his wife for my actions to be considered red pill while claiming?

If not then you are treading into dangerous waters discussing any advocation of any care of such. It's one thing here on TRP because we operate on the principle of consent. Theoretically such things should die in frozen wasteland of paranoia but this is the internet. If we open the sub, the content will come and we'll have to thresh.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It would help if all these sub-subs were linked in the main tRP screen.

We have Redpill- woman which is linked and growing fast. This division works great.

However, there is no linked Red pill marriage/LTR/Relationships main sub. There are several and none of them have much traffic.

A Red pill parenting sub where all the posts on parenting and teaching sexual strategy to the yung-uns would also be useful.

If we link a Redpill Game and a Red Pill- pussy pass (for all the examples of, you know) then along with Ask/trp we would narrow this sub down to sexual strategy and theory (i.e. the purpose of The Red Pill).

Once you have red pill content and form an order of commitment to the thresh, it becomes something you then call for consideration.

You asked, I've delivered:

edit: it's been made private for the time being so we can fix the place up. For now it'll be inactive, but it'll be back before too long.

[+][deleted] -7 points-6 points-5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks. Now we just need to spread the word and get the traffic flowing.

Red Pill Parenting Random Thoughts: I have 2 boys, teenager and 7 y/o.

  1. Men Act more than they talk. SHOW your child masculine energy and rational leadership.

  2. At the teenage years, give the boy the red pill. Show him a basic book on game and explain how it works between men and women. I told my boy the girls your age are bitches because they want older, better men than you. Your at the bottom, build yourself up and you will have a selection in a few years.

  3. Don't let your wife disrespect you in front of the children.

  4. Explain the ways of men and women (hypergamy, alphafux/beta bucks and shit tests) the same way you talk about politics. Shit just comes up and you give your opinion.

  5. Show the boy how to talk with women. Make eye contact with a woman, if she holds it or looks back at you nudge your boy and say: "Watch this." Then proceed to flirt away until your wife gets pissed and starts fidgeting.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Must be the down vote brigade cuz that was good advice. FYI on #2: My boy was the one who called the girls his age "bitches." I just explained why that is his perception.
