First post on TRP. I thought I'd share a frustration of mine. I am profoundly deaf and wear a cochlear implant and a hearing aid. These aids almost instantly shut down any woman I approach. My own wife, who I met on eHarmony, admitted she was glad she didn't know I was deaf and missed the hearing aids on my profile picture, as she wouldn't have agreed to meet up with me. As a younger man, I had access to a strong Deaf Community, with many desirable women. Before The Red Pill was founded, I was employing the tactics of the Red Pill with deaf women. I did not put women up on a pedestal, I ensured my masculine features were clearly visible, I took charge during a sexual interaction. And I was successful. Never had an issue in high school or college picking up a deaf chick. Then I graduated college and my access to the Deaf Community became less available. And I realized my approach was ineffective on "hearing" women. Because of two reasons:
- Women are insecure. The idea of a challenge communicating with a man, because he can't hear, is absolutely terrifying. Meanwhile, as long as a woman has desirable traits, something like needing to write back and forth with a deaf chick or repeating something now and then is no big deal for a man.
- Women seek men who can provide material items. Although I'm a CPA and make plenty of money, the average handicapped person cannot provide. And it has caused women to associate handicapped with being deadbeat broke. It sucks. This type of selective breeding is different from genetic selection, which both men and women I would argue are guilty of (by the way, in my case and 90% of cases, deafness is acquired and not genetic). I agree with TRP's assertion that more money attracts more women. Unfortunately, for those with a handicap, there are prejudices that suck really bad working against us, no matter how muscular, manly, independent, emotionally strong, and wealthy we are.
I've kicked my own ass for years for not moving somewhere after college in my 20's to a place with more deaf chicks. And it pisses me off to have my sexual experienced cut down in its prime due to female prejudices. I'm relatively happily married now, to a hearing woman who for the most part respects my manhood (needs to be reminded in appropriate ways sometimes though). But it sucks to see young women harp about their inequality when they don't treat the handicapped as equal. Anyway, I wanted to share my frustration with a group I believe will be receptive, which is unfortunately rare in our feminized society.
EDIT: Forget to add flair. Red Pill Theory.
