Children. Having a large, strong family has historically been the path to aggregating power and influence.

It's not just the title of the book, it's the premise of the laws. I accumulate and maintain power just fine, and part of it, for me anyway, is blowing off steam on forums. With the added bonus of maybe opening a few eyes to a different perspective on things. If you disagree with that for some reason please explain why without couching behind vague prescripts.

Not everything is about accumulating power. Trolling forums is just good entertainment.

I think this is a good example of "long-term alpha" versus "short-term alpha" so to speak. Women live in the now and a lot of times buy into the "short-term alpha" bullshit. But at the end of the day life is a marathon and is won by those who pace themselves.

They are "the beautiful ones" from that mouse overpopulation experiment. No territory / land ownership == no purpose.

well, as I said, this movie isn't blatantly feminist. it's barely feminist at all. I don't think most people who saw it would think otherwise.

So why would you pay to see some other movie instead of the one you are seeing?

whatever's clever, I don't see the point though. Wait, is it because you don't like all the Jews in Hollywood? 'Cause that would be awesome.

for the record, the women get their asses handed to them in melee. It isn't like OP is depicting here.

LOL hardly dude. Best action movie is T2 or Aliens, period.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/15 05:59 AM

Despite the BS upvoted in this thread, Max is definitely the main hero in this movie. The feminist themes play a distant second fiddle to surviving.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/15 05:57 AM

This. Max was a more important and talented character than Furiosa, and she knew it.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/15 05:56 AM

Dredd is the only perfect 5-star action movie I've seen since like... Aliens or T2.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/15 05:54 AM
2

Saw it tonight, not nearly as feminist as OP makes it out to be. Dredd is essentially a perfect film and while Mad Max was very good, no, it's not as good as Dredd. I'd still recommend though.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/15 05:53 AM

Max can help us, but we don't actually need him because we are strong independent womyn. Saw it tonight, it's not really like that. Very little white-knighting and Max isn't second fiddle like people are making him out to be.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/15 05:51 AM

... I'd see this one in the theater. And it isn't really very feminist. All the women get their asses handed to them throughout.

My problem is that this is covered extensively. And has been literally for years. Don't debate logically with women, they respond to emotion. Don't discuss redpill with people, including women and/or your beta buddies. Not only did you do both, but you kept calling it "obvious" that you would. That's just being dense. Fuck me for telling you how it is, of course. Maintain frame, don't let things get to you, work on your own goals and career. That doesn't mean lowering yourself to engage in petty…

For obvious reasons, I fought her on this quite a bit Would you fight with a 10-year-old who said the same thing...? I'd hope not. and she said she was a feminist. "Sure, I'm all for equal rights too. Just don't turn into one of those crazy feminists, alright?" End of conversation. Again, for obvious reasons, I argued with her Is this your first day of reading TRP or something? Women don't respond well to logical arguments. Old friends tell me that i have changed, which is totally real, they dont want to hang with me because "you always want to look superior to us". A big part of being genuinely superior is making your friends look good. Just something to keep in mind... their feedback could have a bit of validity. Then again, it might not. If you're not attracted to her or constantly doing things for her, I wouldn't call you an orbiter. Sounds like a fairly normal friendship to me. That being said, be careful that you aren't replacing your dating life with chilling with her. There is an opportunity cost to hanging out with her. Every minute you're gossiping with her is one minute less that your furthering your real goals.

I don't know, both have been useful for me. 90% of succeeding in life is just avoiding bad surprises / fuck-ups. The thing that fucks someone could be marriage. Or the thing that fucks someone up could be moving to a urban neighborhood for cheap rent and getting a TBI from being punched by a stranger. It could be thinking it's fun to spin black girls as plates without realizing 48% of them have genital herpes. Actionable? It's mostly avoidance. Same as here in many ways, TRP will make you want t…

Yeah, I know this is the #1 answer, but I really don't think it's a good idea to escalate things in your situation. Might as well light the powderkeg. If you push her into a corner she really could try to fight back by crying rape, you're right about that. Amused mastery. So much easier, more effective, less risky and less dramatic. Sure, of course, they are being somewhat unprofessional. That being said, it's not like they're committed to a longer viewing. You tell them, "Set something up on the calendar and I'll show you more." They think, "Do I want to see more? Nah, not really." So they never set it up.

Try journaling on a daily basis. You force yourself to type out least a dozen paragraphs every day. If nothing comes to mind you just type, "I have nothing to say. I have nothing to say." over and over until it flows. It won't take long, you're a smart guy. Some of the stuff that comes out might shock you. The root of all this anger is probably somewhere where you don't expect it to be. It also could be stifled creativity of some sort. Finally, self-forgiveness. You need to forgive yourself for …

Yep, well... even if it doesn't sound ideal, it's not like your situation is ideal either. Why would a women have a genuine interest in you right now? I mean, be realistic. You aren't in a situation to provide for someone and that's what women want. You don't have a career. you don't have your own place. You're putting the cart before the horse. Women aren't going to jump all over you just because you're "nice".

Well, career has to be your foundation. Then it's having your own place to live. And then dating and women. Any woman over 21 is going to be looking for a guy with some reasonable income and their own pad. It's just how it works in modern society. Women innately look for providers. A guy who has a lot of issues and lives with his parents does not fit that mold. So the attraction likely won't be there. You'll be invisible. I hope she dumps you. You are only looking to get laid and she obviously wants more commitment than that. Why do you even want to pursue it when you want totally different things?

Well, the military is obviously a sausage party. How much longer are you in for?

Your post raises a few questions.. How is therapy going? How long have you been attending? What type of therapeutic system are you doing, if you know? CBT... for instance. What is your living situation like? How are your career options going so far?

So... don't buy a house right out of college? It also doesn't really take 20 years to pay off a house, unless you are in a major (read: expensive) city.

r/asktrp Been exclusive with a FWB for 8 months If you're exclusive, how is it FWB and not a relationship? Does she think it's a relationship? How does she feel about the exclusivity? Why not call it a relationship if that's what it is? "But he's my beeeesssttt friieeeend! (lol ok). Yeah, they are going to hook-up. Which should be fine, since she's only your FWB, right? Like I said, im predicting a branch swing. I'm predicting that she will slowly become more of a bitch, show less enthusiasm and…

This belongs in /r/askTRP I've just been thinking of how does one increase their SMV if they are kind of socially awkward and have yet to fulfill their Love/belonging part of the pyramid before fullfilling the Esteem and Self-actualization part? Work on your social skills? I'm not sure what you're asking exactly...

Just be blunt. "I don't really like it." "It looks like you want to be in middle school."

You want it all. You want a nice, enthusiastic, passionate guy, but then you don't want him to catch feelings for you. Not that there's anything wrong with that... but it's a bit of a difficult mix. Good for you though. When you do find someone who meets the needs you described, he'll be pretty awesome.

Somehow, I land in-between start acting but hurt and answering her questions with short, rude answers. Ignoring means you aren't hanging out with her anymore. It's not the same as silent treatment.

If she was that cold towards you, she's probably had a lot better pipe laid than yours at this point.

To be fair, the post this mod is referencing: r/TheRedPill/comments/2x9e5f/signs_of_the_times_rp_movie_boyhood_nominated_for/ was decent as well and sparked some good redpill conversation about the various character's motivations. Sort of seems like this mod just read the title and got upset (and ban-happy) over nothing.

You can still rent in a nice area. You can still drive a used lexus. Yes, the divorce is worth it over a wife riding the cock carousel, come on. Find your self-respect.
