I am fairly new to Redpill, and for me it provides a framework in which all my experiences with women are finally clarified.
One point of confusion for me is the apparent Redpill endorsement of /r/NoFap and abstinence from pornography. For me porn & masturbation has always been an exercise of sexual independence, decreasing the effect of the female power of sexual selection.
An examination of mating practices in other species, such as mammals and birds, reveals a system in which the male must sufficiently prove his genetic worth to a female in order to mate. In the vast majority of courting species, females have the power of sexual selection. The female power of sexual selection created the elaborate plumage & dances of male birds of paradise (notice how the female is quite dully colored in comparison - this sexual dimorphism is common among birds).
It would be foolish to think that humans are different in this regard. Game is our plumage - it shows our genetic worth just the same.
For me, the implication is that men cannot ever truly control their sexuality. Women always have that power of sexual selection. The brightest, most fluid dancing bird of paradise will have many females to choose from, but he can only choose from those who have chosen him to begin with.
To me, pornography and masturbation is what truly removes this power of sexual selection from women. It is to say that I will only engage in sexual activity on my own terms. I will not let my sexuality rot to waste while I wait for a woman to decide my plumage is worthy of her selection.
Redpill is awesome because it shows men how to brighten their plumage and become selected more frequently, but I don't understand how giving up my sexual independence will help to this end.
