don't raise your hand, when asked why, answer "I did not not raise my hand because I am not a feminist, I did not raise my hand because I do not consent to being asked personal gender related questions in a public setting, you did not ask for my consent and will not get my answer. Please respect my right to privacy"

That will shut them up and give you the upper hand. Refute the premise that they have power which is implied in the "with us or against us" shit test and assert your own power by chastising the questioner for his lack of tact.

I think that a lot of people just don't understand the consequences of feminist actions.

Most girls will class themselves as feminists and why wouldn't they? It's in the name. Feminism HAS to be beneficial to them, right?

With men, either it's a lack of 'red pill' understanding, or they might feel scared that if they don't call themselves feminists they'll get attacked for it (like you did), OR they feel that if they say they are feminists, they will appear more attractive to the ladies because they must care a lot about women and they must be really sensitive - which obviously screams 'Beta'. I used to be one of those people.

The reaction you received is the best explanation you can provide the next time you get asked this question. Feminism doesn't allow opposing point of views. You saw the hands of the students around you rise quicker than the hands that did go up to the SIEG HEIL during the third reich in germany. And you were immediatly shutdown and condemned for your opposing viewpoint like member of the resistance in germany.

Explain that you will continue to fight every ideoligy that doesn't allow discussion and reason.

Brainwashed is the right word. While I generally don't think it's a good idea to state RP or even logical beliefs about feminism (or many other things) at school or work, I applaud dissent toward feminism in very mild forms. Don't fuck up your future over it, but don't give in and be a total bitch about it either. Well done, sir. Try to invent some bullshit excuse to use next time something like this comes up, and in general, be careful in situations like these. Walk the fine line.

Why any man would be a feminist is beyond me. I always deflect by saying I'm a humanist. We're all humans, and I want equal rights and privileges for all people regardless of gender, race, sexuality or belief.

When you get asked why you don't feel part of a certain group do the following:

ask questions, act interested, thank for new knowledge and say you'll think about it.

90% of people will give up instantly because they have no idea what they are talking about. Minority will like you because they will feel good about recruiting a new member.
