Realize she's not the woman you fell in love with. She hasn't been that girl for a long time.

Unfortunately she's dead and gone. You knew this way before the fights started happening. All the warning signs were there. You might have even mentioned the change. That women may have never existed in the first place. You're only hanging on so long, hoping the person you loved returns.

She is not coming back.

You allowed this to happen. Buying into her lies, spinning your own to yourself. All in an attempt to make her's digestible. You knew but you intentionally ignored your gut's screams. You tucked that nagging suspicioun, deep down inside, trying to forget about it. Once recognized, it never fully subsides.

Quit beating yourself up over what you could have done different. Over what you did wrong. Over all the mistakes she claims you made. The biggest issue you created; brushing off the warning signs and not ejecting earlier.

Most of the drama would have been avoided had you left once she no longer met your standards.

This is not to say you don't have faults to learn from. That there's nothing to take away from your behaviors within the relationship but by holding on to hope that she'll come around, you're only avoiding the inevitable.

You can not save her or get her back.

Focus on yourself, your future and continue growing in the direction you've wanted to from the start. Don't talk shit, don't drag her personal business through the mud. The best revenge is living a better life. Not to get back at her or for who she use to be, but for yourself.
