I'm of the opinion that this is why conservatives have let feminism run amok in our society as long as it has: single people spend more, AND all single people require jobs thus diluting the value (read: wages) of the labor pool.

You sell 2x as many TVs, and you pay each TV-buyer less...it's a win-win for capitalism.

Conservatives would NATURALLY be opposed to the ideology, but money wins out.

Presuming the statistics are close to accurate representing this phenomenon, this should be a decent motivator for people wanting to practise game.
The odds are better than 50/50 that the cute girl you just laid eyes on is single.
One less excuse.
